I have done my level 2 diploma in plumbing at Midkent college and I’m hoping to get straight in to work to gain more experience. I started my level 2 plumbing at Midkent college Gillingham campus which I finished and successfully passed the course In plumbing I have been learning to solder copper pipe, bending pipe, threading pipe using the machine and hand threading, bending different type of plumbing material for example 15mm copper pipe 22mm copper pipe and even plastic pipe. We have done all different type of practical work, for example putting up guttering, checking if their is any leaks after sorting out waste pipe and also putting up a radiator and connecting all the pipework that is required and most importantly checking that their was no leaks. Our main practical task that I was given was putting up a bathroom in three days which includes putting hot and cold water, putting in a basin, toilet with all the waste pipe and connected it to the bath. I’ve had a few experience with going with an actually plumber for work experience putting in a new shower and a new shower tray as his old one was rotten and wanted us to start from scratch.I am a good and not scared to get my hand dirty at all.
