I am LL, Founder of The Heirloom Kitchen Gardener, a specialist horticultural practice dedicated to the design and cultivation of refined, productive gardens in London and surrounding areas. For over a decade, I have worked with private homeowners, estates, and community spaces across London and surrounding areas to create elegant, abundant gardens of heirloom vegetables, aromatic herbs, fine fruit, and flowers. As an Expert and Trial Grower with the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS), I contribute to Plant Trials and national recommendations, including the Award of Garden Merit (AGM). My work has also been featured on Gardeners’ World, bringing this approach to a wider audience. Based in London, I offer a considered range of horticultural services in London and surrounding areas: ● Landscape gardening and landscape gardening services ● Seasonal horticultural preparation and ongoing garden care ● Edible garden design and kitchen garden design ● Specialist pruning and plant care services ● Tuition in kitchen gardening for those wishing to develop their own practice. ● Planting design for vegetables, herbs, fruit, and flowers. ● Heritage and heirloom seed cultivation ● Companion planting for health and productivity. My approach is selective, meticulous, and unhurried, favouring quality, longevity, and botanical integrity over quick solutions. I take on a limited number of projects to ensure each receives full attention from planning through establishment. The aim is always a garden that matures correctly over time: productive, coherent, and beautifully resolved across the seasons, without continual correction or compromise. I work with clients in London and surrounding areas who value thoughtful design, expert horticulture, and a level of service that reflects both. If you are considering the creation or refinement of your garden, I would be pleased to discuss your plans.
