Leslie and his partner did a fantastic job in my garden. They were both incredibly friendly, professional, and easy to communicate with. The job involved clearing a large amount of brambles—no small task—but they tackled it with great care and efficiency. The end result was of a very high standard, and I couldn’t be happier with the transformation. I’ll definitely be hiring them again and would highly recommend their services to anyone looking for reliable and hardworking gardeners.

Job: reinstall 1 blinds, and install 1 door handle, £100. Great if you’re looking to install venetian blinds onto a brick wall. Hoovered the dust directly whilst drilling which was appreciated! However, they did not have the tools needed to install the door handle/mortice lock, which was discussed before the appointment so I can only assume you were unprepared. They did not fulfil this task. I thought you were being polite by putting the old door handle back on as you failed to install the new one. I could have done that easily myself, for free, I only removed it to prepare for the job. Was not expecting to pay the £100 quoted just to put the old handle back on instead of a mortice lock handle. I’ve booked a locksmith and will have to pay more to complete a job I have essentially paid for already... In future, if you have not completed a task I would not charge the customer the full amount quoted, respectfully. You were polite despite this and clean, and as for the blinds the job done was satisfactory, well done! I also appreciate that you took a trip to screw fix to find a handle easier to install, even though you came back empty handed. A for effort. I’m not greatly concerned over the money, but thought it overall was unfair and a waste of time. I only paid as I felt sympathetic 2 tradesmen spent 3 hours installing 1 set of blinds, taking an unsuccessful trip to screw fix and fiddling around with a door handle. Thank you for installing the blinds though!

I used Help at Home Solutions to update my garden, adding planting areas and making it more usable for me. Jamie was very helpful throughout the design process and the build went smoothly. The result is fantastic; well constructed, sturdy planters and border edges, finished with attention to detail. The quality of his work was outstanding — my garden looks cleaner, tidier, and better than I expected. His price was very fair, especially considering how thorough he was. Please be careful about hiring this person. We initially decided for £1200 for tree cutting and shed fixing. Later on for the shed, we told him that in place of fixing the existing one, we will buy a new one and you just assemble it. We paid him £1400 for that, 200 more than agreed price, as a tip. Later he told us that he can do other landscaping, flower bed, patio work. He did one side sleeper, even that is not complete, he put only 6 double sleepers. Everyday he used to ask for money, without giving any breakdown of the cost. One day he started shouting and yelling that you are not giving me money. We gave him whatever he was asking for. So for the one side flower bed, we paid him £5600. He told us that the material he bought costed him £3400, obviously he didn't give us any receipts to substantiate his claim. He left the work mid way and fled the day we paid him the money. I called him, messaged him, but he didn't reply and when I threaten to go to police, he said go do whatever, I won't come. I have registered a scam case against him in bank and police. Please avoid this trader if you can. He is so disrespectful to his clients, uses foul language.
