I hired Jasyremovals for garden cleaning services through mybuilder.com, He initially quoted 250 GBP based on images, then he raised it to 550 GBP after visiting. The agreed work included hedge trimming, driveway cleaning, Tidying the front, cleaning rubbish (bed and mattress included), cleaning the pond filled with pebbles, laying black membrane and adding new pebbles. Jasyremovals started on December 20, 2024, but midway demanded 700 GBP, threatning to leave the rubbish outside, After negotiating, I paid 300 GBP upfront and agreed to 630 GBP. Informed my tenant is not happy with the price I told him after my confirmation we will plan for tomorrow's work. The next day without my consent, he returned , partially completed the work, skipped the mebrane, did not trim the hedge as promised and cut an old flower I told him to leave. While access the hedge , he broke an asbestos roof and refused to claim it on his insurance. He was shouted and let the job incomplete but had to pay 550

Mike was excellent from start to finish. He was super responsive via text before even commencing the job, making sure he fully understood what was required and that he came prepared for every eventuality. He arrived bang on time, totally understood what needed doing and was also very good at explaining what he was doing and why. I felt completely confident in his abilities and he did a sterling job. From fixing a cupboard hinge, to putting up a blind and re-grouting the bath. 5 stars and I will definitely use him again!

Aidan fixed the shower room in the house, which turned out to need an entire refurbishing and changing of leaking pipes. He informed me of the progress regularly including any changes to the original plans and made sure I am happy with the end result. The shower room turned out great. I used Help at Home Solutions to update my garden, adding planting areas and making it more usable for me. Jamie was very helpful throughout the design process and the build went smoothly. The result is fantastic; well constructed, sturdy planters and border edges, finished with attention to detail. I wish I took the negative comments more seriously before hiring Edi for my bathroom but he downplayed them very well, promised a great quality of job plus the pictures on his profile showed jobs properly done so I trusted him. What a mistake! I had exactly the same problems as described in the previous negative feedback. Basic errors with laying the tiles – not only uneven lines but also wrongly cut tiles that left plenty of gaps (he even covered one of the gaps between the wall and floor with a sealant!, others with too thick layers of adhesive or grout, which just look awful). He wasted many tiles unnecessarily too and wasn’t even able to apply the grout correctly; missing many tiles, creating lumps and failing to clean the grout from the tiles after application causing their discolouration! Not to mention plumbing problems – leak that gets fixed only for a couple of hours and then returns. The quality of job is of an amateur, not a professional. Unfortunately, there doesn’t seem to be an option to attach images to the feedback - I have plenty of them so please contact me before thinking about working with this person. He promised to correct the errors but I'm still waiting for this to be done nearly three weeks after the job was apparently finished. He is also avoiding contact. I hope MyBuilder will take relevant steps. My advice is – spare yourself the unnecessary stress and wasted money and HIRE SOMEONE ELSE!

Please be careful about hiring this person. We initially decided for £1200 for tree cutting and shed fixing. Later on for the shed, we told him that in place of fixing the existing one, we will buy a new one and you just assemble it. We paid him £1400 for that, 200 more than agreed price, as a tip. Later he told us that he can do other landscaping, flower bed, patio work. He did one side sleeper, even that is not complete, he put only 6 double sleepers. Everyday he used to ask for money, without giving any breakdown of the cost. One day he started shouting and yelling that you are not giving me money. We gave him whatever he was asking for. So for the one side flower bed, we paid him £5600. He told us that the material he bought costed him £3400, obviously he didn't give us any receipts to substantiate his claim. He left the work mid way and fled the day we paid him the money. I called him, messaged him, but he didn't reply and when I threaten to go to police, he said go do whatever, I won't come. I have registered a scam case against him in bank and police. Please avoid this trader if you can. He is so disrespectful to his clients, uses foul language.
