Highly recommended - friendly, professional, and really knows his stuff. Every job that Craig completed for me has been carried out to an exceptionally high standard. Excellent communication throughout, and was an absolute dream to work with. The follow-up quality check was an added bonus; Craig came back to the house to review the completed work and made good some parts that he wasn't 100% happy with, even though I hadn't noticed them. He even picked up a couple of additional odd jobs for me while he was there. Attention to detail 10/10 Communication 10/10 Quality of work 10/10 Respect to property 10/10 (cleaned up beautifully after each day) Value for money 10/10 Singing voice 8/10 (marks for effort) The highest compliment I can give is that I will be asking him back to do some additional remodelling of my kitchen/utility area.

Been holding off on writing a review to allow Adam to address the situation he has left me and my neighbour in. We contracted Adam to replace our existing roofs with slate, seal and tidy up existing gutters and replace soffit boards. All started well early May 2026 with scaffold going up and roof strip. Roof works progressed ok, albeit a little slow. Many false promises of attendance and then not showing up, or attending and only carrying an hour or so of progress. Appreciate contractors often have multiple projects going on but attendance was very poor. Slating finally got finished end June, with promise soffits would get completed the following week. Soffits were started two weeks later but to an extremely poor standard. So poor that we ask him to stop. Being fair we asked for a requote to the standard we originally discussed. Since mid July, zero contact from Adam, with all calls and messages being ignored. We are left to sort the mess out ourselves using other contractors.

The standard of work was abysmal. The photos in the photo gallery must have been taken from someone else's site. Catalogue of errors. Where do I start. - Failed to follow the instructions on boarding the ceiling, instead boxing off part of the room. - Much of the insulation was removed, - The boards were not properly screwed down, leaving unlevelled floor board, with dips and rises in the floor. - Both the flooring and ceiling boards had gaps, which were filled with foam. - The work caused cracks in the ceiling below. - The original fitted loft door was cut. This was cut short. Then repaired by putting another piece of wood on top. The loft door is now two pieces of board stuck together, which is unsightly to look at. -Since the "job" was done the loft door does not stay closed, as the lock was not properly fitted probably due to the loft door not fitting. -The ladder is flimsy, the cheapest on the market. As the loft is high I have been told that the ladder is inadequate. I requested the receipt to return it. The receipt was sent to me after the 30 days that the ladder was purchased. The shop were it was brought refused to take it back as it was outside the refund period. The flooring is so bad it has to be boarded over, which is an additional cost. The plasterer had to screw down boards before he could start plastering.

Agreed initial work cutting hedges/tree and cutting lawns and then a monthly visit to do general gardening tasks. He did a reasonable job on the hedges/trees but too wet to cut the lawns. unfortunately haven's seen or heard from him since???

Unreliable,uncommunicative,untrustworthy,dillusional and unreasonable is how we find Dai.He came and gave us a quote(him and Melissa via email)We agreed start date 1st may.At 1st May 1300hours I text him and he write. "Due to complication at the job in hand he cannot start till 5th may" we agreed again. Come 5th of May 30 minutes before start time. Now he says he needs contract signed. We pointed out WE HAVENT RECEIVED ANY CONTRACT(in email and text) then he comes back accusing us being rude to Melissa? And he requires deposit(HALF AN HOUR BEFORE STARTING THE JOB) When we point out NEITHER WE RECEIVED ANY CONTRACT, as he suggested, NOR WE TALKED ABOUT THE DEPOSIT IN QUOTE OR VERBALLY. we dont even know what the deposit was? Which shows his communicative skills. He stopped writing. We have been unable to raise him in any means. So we thanked him and take his silence as refusal. HIRE HIM AT YOUR PERIL. after 5 weeks we are back to square one because of him, and starting over again.

I strongly recommend jm building services. Jean paul marshall did an excellent job on my patio and I am very happy with his work. He is professional, reliable and always turned up on time. Jm and all his workers were very friendly and respectful. They worked in the scorching heat to lay my patio. He is a perfectionist and his work is neat, clean and tidy! Nothing was too much trouble for him. He really went out of his way to solve all the issues relating to my garden and my fence and he kept my costs low. He always kept me updated and he was so considerate in making sure my garden is safe for my son. I can't thank him enough! He is a fantastic landscape gardener and has great ideas.
