Hi, I'm Darren, I’m a 40 year old part time gardener working across Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire, with a long-standing passion for working outdoors and caring for gardens. After spending most of my career working behind screens in media, I made the decision in 2024 to partly step away and move into a more hands-on line of work. Since lockdown in 2021, when I moved to the countryside and began maintaining a 1.5-acre garden, I developed a real connection to gardening and growing my own fruit and veg. It’s now one of the things I value most, being outside, keeping spaces well maintained, planting, and growing my own food with my family.
