We hired JN Construction to refurbish our staircase. Unfortunately, the work was left incomplete with numerous defects, including cracked timber, chipped glass, incorrectly fitted components and unfinished areas. We paid almost two-thirds of the agreed price upfront as a deposit, which we are now having to pursue, along with the additional costs of rectifying the work. Jamie last attended on 24 July and has not responded to any correspondence since, despite being given repeated opportunities to return and resolve the issues. We subsequently obtained an independent assessment which states that “poor workmanship” has resulted in “irreparable damage to the existing structure” and that complete replacement is highly likely to be required. We have been left with an unfinished and badly damaged staircase when the agreement was to retain and refurbish the existing one. The complete lack of communication has made an already stressful situation worse.

Absolutely brilliant job from start to finish. Patio looks amazing! Will definitely be using Julian again for any outdoor landscaping work.
