Flooring Fitter in LlanidloesI'm a self employed carpenter and joiner with experience in other areas of the building trade i.e... painting, soffits and facias, slabbing. I pride myself in completing a job to a high standard and being very clean and tidy while doing so. All aspects of joinery undertaken from 1st to 2nd fix.... roofwork, studwork, doors, door linings, skirting boards, arcitraves, laminate and engineered flooring, dado rails, picture rails, fitted cupboards and much much more!
Its been a pleasure working with Meirion and his team. From start to finish it was quick, stress free and an excellent job done. I would certainly recommend Bowen Building and hope to see them again soon.

The work was carried meticulously and completed within promised timescales. He attended punctually when he promised and always left his working area clean and tidy. We are very pleased with the work he has carried out and will, without hesitation, ask him to help us on our next project. Highly recommended.
The contractor was quick to respond to the ad and attend my home to measure and discuss the job on 3 July : Removal of 84 square meters of vinyl and carpet and lay 84 square meters of LVT click flooring 24 July. The contractor accepted the job on 3 July. He agreed to start on 25 July because he said his son's birthday was on 24 July. The contractor was initially efficient at providing a sample of an alternative local LVT click floor board. The contractor was slower to confirm his hourly rate but this was provided. The contactor has not confirmed the 2 plates needed between LVT click and carpet to make it safe. The contractor asked for his mate to carry out the running around work. This was fine but the contractor would not provide the mate's surname and address. Repeated requests were made and the contractor declined then did not respond. My Builder confirms it is entirely normal for customers to know the name and address of someone coming into the customer's home. In this case, I would have to know the mate's surname to be able to make an online payment to him! The contractor said he would visit on 13 July. He sent a message at 20:40 saying that he would not attend. Heard nothing from the contractor since. This is not professional.

They ensured a splendid upgrading of both the barn’s appearance and its ability to withstand strong winds and rain. They had clearly looked ahead and taken everything into account. At no point did we need to intervene. They also included in their work some very pleasing professional finishing touches - like inverted finials, matching timber trimming, and some effective additional paintwork. From beginning to end Gordon and Jo were very pleasant people to interact with. A quotation was provided promptly, the work was begun on the date agreed, and they finished the job when they expected to. We were also delighted to find that they had cleaned up well and left everything tidy and orderly. Highly recommended.
Dave is a totally professional joiner. He is talented and highly experienced, has all the right gear and produces exceptional results. Dave is very fairly priced, he is punctual being on time every day, he is tidy, he works hard and steady, he is flexible and listens. Dave fitted custom made wardrobes, fit doors, installed a kitchen, skirting,oak flooring, hardwood decking, slats and other joinery. I have employed a number of joiners over the years and wouldn't hesitate to call Dave first if I needed joknery or carpentry jobs completed. Highly recommended
