I am very happy that we decided to hire Terence for this job. Although the wallpaper we had for our feature wall turned out to be a very poor quality paper and very tricky to work with, Terence did a great job. I can say that he has an eye for detail and is always looking to get the work done well with the best possible result. We would hire Terence again.

Lloyd from LGM Builders called to give me a quote to plaster my bedroom walls and ceiling. He was very helpful and friendly. He suggested putting insulation boards on the outside wall to keep the heat in. I also needed one new board on the ceiling. I was told the whole job would be 1 day prep and 2 days work. Lloyd arrived alone and completed all the work in 1 day and asked to be paid. I never expected to have any problems and paid him by bank transfer that evening. I then discovered that the new boards covered my window sill and also didn't allow enough room for the new radiator to be fitted without moving the pipes. Lloyd purchased a new window sill on my behalf and said he would return to fit later in the week. As the plaster dried I noticed lots of indentations and it was quite rough in places. When Lloyd arrived I mentioned the faults in the plaster so that it could be fixed. Lloyd's personality completely changed, his tone was aggressive, which made me feel very vulnerable and uncomfortable in my own home. He said he had done a good job and if I was a painter I would know that the indentations would need filling prior to painting. He then said he wasn't going to waste his time putting the new sill on when he could be working for someone else.

Very thorough,initial and continuing consultation all through the work. We felt confident in their abilities and attitude which showed enthusiasm and empathy, as well as humour! Would not hesitate to use them again, which we are, and to recommend them to others. They were quick to respond to our advert and to start the job. Welcomed, good advice initially and throughout helped up to realise our plans and the results have exceeded our expectations. They even fixed my ethernet cable when I cut through it with the hedge-cutter - without laughing! The front of the house looks so different and the inside is so warm. We now also have wonderful, solid steps from all exits. A first! Continual support has been offered for the future which is very reassuring. Just as happy with bathroom appliances as I am moving radiators & flushing Central heating. Launched MattPlumb at the start of September 2019 & steadily growing. I also do handyman work with skills that have been learnt through my plumbing, ie boxing in & door adjustments.

Terry checked my roof and found that is was fine and didn’t require any work on it, this put my mind at rest over it, I found Terry an honest and experienced person who could quite easily have tried to make some money from the situation but did not. Lee arrived prepare a quote for our 2 jobs and submitted very quickly. We were all ready to hire him to do the initial stage of the work when we found structural issues with the property. Therefore we have had to postpone the job indefinitely but very much hope that Lee will be able to fit us in again when refurb work can restart. Thank you Lee.
