I can’t write a review as the job wasn’t done. I hired this roofer who then came out to quote. The good bits - 1) He spoke excellent English and was very pleasant. 2) He looked at the job and sent a quote for the work. 3) I hired him. V The bad bits - 1) He decided that the quote was going to be revised upwards as it was a bigger job than he thought (illegal! Quotes cannot be revised upwards, only down). 2) Never heard from him again Advice: Don’t bother, get a proper roofer

I used EKM Carpentry to install 10 x oak doors. Ellis was the complete professional and his work ethic and customer consideration was far and beyond my expectations. If I need a carpenter in the future I would definitely hire Ellis. The work was completed with the minimum of fuss and mess. If you need a quality carpenter EKM Carpentry is the place to go.

Hired this tradesperson for a shed roof repair after he initially appeared knowledgeable and professional. The job was discussed in detail , and he provided a list of materials for me to purchase in advance. I arranged and paid for all materials based on his instructions and confirmed a date for the work. The day before the job, I contacted him to confirm timing and received no response. When I finally reached him by phone, he abruptly said he could no longer do the job, offered no explanation, and hung up mid conversation. He has since blocked all communication. This level of behaviour is completely unacceptable. Cancelling at the last minute without any notice or explanation, then cutting off communication, shows a complete lack of professionalism and respect for the customer’s time and money. I would strongly advise others to avoid this tradesperson.
