Sandstone patio laid by Samuel and Danny. Coming back to seal after some dry weather, finish some of the grouting and firm up a couple of very slight wobbles. Patio looks good 👍🏻

My experience was that Steve was a very efficient Tradesman, was quick to respond to the carpentry advert, gave a reasonable quote, turned up 10 minutes early on the day and completed work to high a standard. Could'nt have asked for more, so would definately recommend.

We’ve been absolutely thrilled with the work from Oxbow Developments. The team was professional, respectful, and considerate throughout our complex renovation. Kerry’s communication was excellent — he kept us and our neighbours well-informed, explained each step clearly, and managed expectations around disruption. Our six-bed Victorian semi posed plenty of challenges, but the team’s problem-solving and transparency helped us make informed decisions with confidence. The craftsmanship — from beautiful brick and stone work to a stunning bespoke oak gazebo — was exceptional. Despite shared access and limited parking, Oxbow handled the side return extension, knock-throughs, underfloor heating, kitchen install, landscaping, and more with professionalism, care, and good humour. We wholeheartedly recommend Oxbow Developments. They’ve not just transformed our home — they’ve earned our lasting gratitude!

Clark was punctual and polite. He fitted a shower screen on a flat top bath. The price for the work was competitive and he cleaned and tidied up before leaving. I would definitely use him again.

James is an excellent craftsman who completed a difficult and unusual task with initiative and great skill. First James made the door which was detailed and very well crafted. Then due to the nature of the existing porch floor James had to adapt fitting the door to avoid water entering the porch. He made an excellent job of this which ensures that water will no longer enter the porch again. Equally good was the way he matched the upper part of the ‘Victorian’ type door both in style and colour. He provided me with a detailed bill which was a very fair price for the materials, time and skill involved. I would happily recommend James’ skill and work ethic. He is very thorough and demonstrated a very pleasant manner throughout.

This was a highly professional job from a company with lots of experience and expertise. The price quoted was competitive and the end result excellent. The key test for me is how a contract is managed at the edges, when unexpected issues arise. When we lost our satellite reception due to the scaffolding, Ryan came over in the evening to move the dish. If the contract was in any way unclear, they always interpreted it in our favour. They even fixed a couple of loose paving slabs with the left over cement from the roof. I will happily use them again for any wider building work we have in the future.

Ben did a grand job, I can't recommend him highly enough. He turned up when he said he would, diagnosed the problem, went and got the part we needed, returned and fixed the problem for a more than reasonable price. The next day when I had stupidly let some pressure out of the system as I thought it was getting a bit high causing there to be fluctuating hot water I rang Ben who again came round at the exact time he said he would, again diagnosed the problem (me!!) and sorted it there and then but wouldn't hear of taking any money for his trouble despite the fact that it was me who had messed things up!! A thoroughly pleasant, polite, prompt and efficient young man who, if he is willing, we will be calling upon in future for our yearly boiler service and any other gas/heating related jobs we may need to have done.

I've absolutely no hesitation in recommending Darek. From the start Darek was professional, trustworthy, polite, punctual and highly skilled. His level of detail really passed my expectations as I've used builders before and although their work was good, Darek thinks like a customer and uses his knowledge, experience and skills to deliver a high quality end result. He came round and took measurements and quoted me for the job and didn't even charge me more for a few last minute changes I needed to make to the job. Thank you for an outstanding job on my floors, you've moved to the top of my list for any work I need to be done.
