I’m really pleased with the work carried out. From the beginning, they explained the whole process clearly, including how they would prepare the walls before painting, which gave me confidence in the job. They were professional, friendly and worked efficiently throughout. The walls were prepared properly, and the finished result looks great. The price was also very reasonable for the amount of work involved, and I felt it offered excellent value for money. I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again and would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable and honest decorator.

The job - gutting our living room. Tearing down the ceiling, removing all old wallpaper and ripping up the floor in order to insulate and add lighting. While we were doing this, we decided to replace the main steel in the living room (which was oversize and impacted the floor height in the guest room) and do remedial works in the guest room. The steel replacement was not time budgeted, but Oli and Tony didn’t hesitate to quote,To make time for us and bring in the structural engineer. Probably added 3 weeks to their time on site. The trades they brought in (plumbing for heating, electrician for downlighters, structural engineer and plasterers) were all professional, did an excellent job and were all unfailingly polite. It was easy to build a good, positive relationship with them, to the point we felt comfortable giving them the keys to the house so they could work while we went away for two weeks. They sent photos of their progress and showed up and worked as if we were there. I was very impressed by the state of the house when we got back. They watered our plants (I didn’t ask) and they cleaned the hallway so that it was spotless. They did a good job for a fair price, and were always cheerful and open to conversation. They came back to do a few snagging items without being chased (this is a huge thing for me, after having chased many builders to finish bits and pieces). I would definitely use them again.

Dave propt up the rear basement wall of our 4 story Victorian house, removed the brickwork, built and strengthen wall sides, put in steel girder and make good around and above. Finally laying the patio in the garden I found Dave has a professional approach to his job and very please with his workmanship (quality). I found him to be professional at his job, approachable and has provided good ideas to help us. He is reliable and always cleans up after his work. I would have no problem using Dave again and would recommend him highly.

Warren proved to be an extremely good choice for the work we needed. Not only is he personable but extremely good to work with. He came in to create two wardrobes, one on either side of a fireplace, in a 1909 property, and persuaded me that my original thinking was not in keeping with the balance of the room. He was absolutely correct and I'm so pleased that he brought his thoughts to me. He provided detailed drawings with his original quotation and the finished work is beautiful and I really couldn't be more pleased. Warren also built an entire book case across one wall of my study which continued above the door and down into a return. It looks great. He was also very helpful in choosing colours. Although Warren is a cabinet maker he helped us hugely by agreeing to fix a sash window and replace a side gate and posts. The work was done to a high standard, in good time and tidily. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending him and I'd most certainly contract him again. Of the quotes I received for the contract Warren was not the lowest but I felt most confident in his approach. He has stayed true to the agreed costs.

Peter came promptly to give a quote for damaged fencing from the recent storms. Immediately replaced the two panels which had come loose without asking for payment. Offered advice without being pushy. On being asked to do the repair and replace fence panels, this was carried out promptly, efficiently and tidily, taking care not to damage plants. He also removed a large prickly plant which had outgrown its space, and carried out some re-grouting in the house. Highly recommend.

Anything wood work related. From design to installation of furniture and joinery. I also undertake landscaping and gardening associated work. I usually ask for pictures of the job in some cases to enable me to give an idea of price, I show respect and treat customers with respect, all I ask in return is not to be insulted with trying to haggle my price also please tell me if you don’t want me to do the job, a simple “thanks for the quote but no thanks “ costs you nothing.
