  At the outset, Harry and his partner are good people. However, the job was not completed to a professional standard. Grout has started coming off from between the tiles leaving gaps that water can pass through, the door hinge was not properly fitted leaving a door that will not close, the radiator pipe clips were not fitted, tile trims are not flush with rest of the wall, shelves were fitted on top of old broken wood. And the worst part is that Harry did not turn up even after confirming a date to come back and fix the missing parts. I paid him extra for all the additional jobs, even though certain items from the contract were not done ( for e.g. replacing the bathtub panel ). They have multiple jobs ongoing at the same time and struggles to stick to schedule. If you get them I would advise not paying everything upfront and making sure contract is signed only after it is made sure that they would stick to schedule. I struggled to get them to commit to a date and stick to it.

  It was a pleasure dealing with Peter and his team from start to finish and we couldn’t be happier with the work that they did. I was impressed with Peter’s previous work and we developed a good rapport from the first meeting and I felt that I could trust him with the work. He was clear about the detail of the work that needed doing upfront and his quote was itemised to reflect what each element would cost. The work was done on time and of a high quality and Peter was responsive at all times to any questions or concerns we had. He also made great suggestions of how we could do things better and was open to our ideas and realising our dream. His team were punctual, friendly and took care of the house ensuring the work that they did was of a high standard at all times and attention to detail which really has made a difference now that the project is completed. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Future shapes to anyone and would certainly use them again.

  Denis and his brother were amazing. Quoted a very very fair price. Turned up when then said they would (never late) Did a fantastic job on the tiling especially the kitchen splash which looks amazing. They were very accomodating to my request, even when I asked them to change the grout on the kitchen splash back. I would and will definitely hire them again.

  Bathroom Fitting- 20 Sep 2017

  A 2 week c. £8k bathroom replacement turned in to a 7 week c. £30k refurb when Dan found a number of issues with my property. The whole process was very challenging with myself and my fiancee forced to leave our home for 2 months. The finish on the project is good in areas and I am comfortable that the structural work that Dan's company have done is to a high standard. However I would not work with Dan again. Dan has a short temper and on a number of occasions during the project he lost his temper with me at one point becoming verbally abusive and saying it was "pathetic" that I was trying to keep costs down. This got out of hand when my house flooded on the last day of the project due to a faulty stop cock. Dan demanded that he be paid for some of his tools that were damaged amounting to £400 without providing any evidence. He said that his insurance would not cover the damage as it was not his fault that the damage occurred. When I refused he became very aggressive. Dan stood outside my property and threatened me saying he would “bring his boys round” and that he “knew where I worked” and that I could “take that as a threat”. Ultimately Dan left and I reported the incident to the police. I have since discovered a number of issues with the work Dan performed. Dan offers a 3 year guarantee on his work but due to his behaviour and these mistakes I do not want him returning to my property and am now forced to hire other tradesman to fix his work.
