Truebuild recently completed the design and build of a full garden and rear of house renovation, including but not limited to a fully equipped outdoor kitchen and frameless sliding door installation. The final finish is nothing short or perfect and has far exceeded all expectations. I thought it would be tricky to find a builder for a project that involved such considerable landscaping, roofing, tiling, plumbing, electrics and decoration as well as a number of bespoke requests (built in pizza oven, sedum roof, beer pump, polished plaster wall, countersunk BBQ and backlit cladded exterior walls to name a few). Louis however managed to co-ordinate these works effortlessly and personally took responsibility for all elements of work. He ensured all elements were completed to his high standards and the attention to detail and final finish of all work is exceptional. Louis and all the truebuild team have been a pleasure to deal with from start to finish. We now have a garden that we can use to entertain all year round for years to come. I have already and will continue to recommend truebuild to friends, family and anyone who asks. We have a builder we know and trust for all future plans we have. Thank you Truebuild

It was tough choosing between the final 2 contractors I’d narrowed down from mybuilder. I am glad we went for Edward and his team. They did a stellar job. The quality and speed of execution was quite impressive - my new driveway was installed days earlier than was initially projected and to a good standard. The inclusive 10 year warranty provides much welcomed reassurance and peace of mind. Early days, but I have no reservations in recommending them for similar jobs.

I hired Lewis when he had zero feedback. He came out promptly to survey the work I needed doing, and during that time I was also able to pick his brains for information about more work I have coming up. For the job itself, I had Lewis swap out an old wire fuse board for a modern consumer unit. Did a great job, and great value for money too. Did not disappoint, and I will definitely look to have him back for the future work I have coming up.

Excellent communication from the start. Louis and his assistant were very polite and also wore masks which was reassuring. The plumbing work was excellent and they were very tidy and efficient. I’d happily hire them again.

I originally hired Sean & his team to replace my back garden fence & gate. He ended up replacing the fence, two gates (which he custom made), built me a concrete base for my shed, putting my new shed together & putting up new trellis along a wall for me. My garden which had not been touched in 11 years is now unrecognisable. The wood used looks beautiful, strong & should last years. Sean & his team were polite, hardworking & left the garden spotless when they were done. No payment was expected until I was completely happy with his work. My friends & family have all commented on what a good job has been done. I would definitely hire Sean again.

Paul came round to give us a quote and made a painstaking plan which he worked with us to perfect. He was courteous and we felt we would be in good hands during an expensive project which we had thought about for years. Then Martin arrived and he was determined to throw the plan out of the window. My daughter and I both went out to show him how his work deviated from that agreed and that it would make our drive too narrow to park our cars. He was adamant that we were wrong and said plans made on the kitchen table were different in real life. He only relented when my husband threatened to stop the work if he didn’t change it. This humiliating experience somewhat coloured the rest of the week and we never did get the edge next to the house that Paul had designed for us. Having said this, the workmen were highly skilled and very polite. The finished drive looks very good indeed. It is a pity Martin was not involved at the planning stage in order to avoid misunderstandings.

Sam did a great job on my new bathroom. He completely removed my old bathroom and made completely new. Sam offered great advice and the bathroom looks great. Whilst removing tiles and plaster board, he discovered I had no lintel installed above the bathroom window. Sam helped organise for a new window and lintels to be installed as per building regulations. Sam was always on time and provided excellent workmanship. I highly recommend.

I found Tom via Mybuilder.com and from start to finish I found him to be very accommodating and now the project has completed pleased to say the work was carried out in a quick and professional manner. The project included creating two brick planters and small raised patio, which were completed in a matter of days. Overall happy to recommend Tom, who is prompt to make a few last minute alterations whilst on the job. Would I use Tom again, in a word ‘Yes’. Thank you for all your hard work.
