I don’t recommend from my personal experience. I am writing this feedback 1 year after so this is based on true experience. The project was dragged over a longer period of time than agreed. He suggested to buy all the materials and we have accepted expecting decent quality products will be used (we are not experts). After he has left, we had a leak under the bath tub, which we have fixed by another plumber (didn’t have the energy to call back and wanted a once for all reliable fix). Taps were difficult to use and we have realised after that they don’t have thermostatic valve (didn’t know this detail before). We can see many cracked grouts due to uneven floor, then we have started getting water leak from the shower (wet room) into the ceiling of the underneath kitchen. We have hired again another tradesman to re-do most of the bathroom. When tiles were removed, we can see very thin materials, very poor tiling tradesman quality (nothing wrong with B&Q tiles). Very disappointing that someone can deliver such poor quality work and hide it all with tiles on top. Such stress, waste of time and waste of a lot of money. Clive is such an awesome guy, very punctual, friendly and installed laminate flooring to the highest standard throughout my flat. He was very happy to give me opinions on the best approach to the flooring installation and was very respectful of his surroundings. I was very impressed with his professional nature and it’s very clear he is an expert in his field and takes pride in his work. I would definitely recommend Clive for your next flooring adventure, I know I will be calling him again!!

Dimche responded to the ad, arrived and fixed the issue on the same day. He pointed out the root cause of the leak and recommended a different connector to the one used by the original builder. As the pipes were made fairly inaccessible by subsequent decorators, he had to cut through the plasterboard to get access and connect everything. The fixed price agreed upfront was adhered to despite the job ended up being not just strict plumbing. I was initially a bit reticent to hire not seeing any reviews (this is due to him using the site to fill the gaps in regular work), but it worked out very well and I've already discussed another potential job in our house. Well recommended!

Claudio tiled a bathroom floor for me and fixed a couple of issues on a kitchen floor that wasn't tiled properly. I am very satisfied with the results. I found him to be friendly, respectful and he communicated with me well. He was flexible in doing the work at short notice and working around what was a bit of a tricky schedule at the time, whilst also maintaining a high attention to detail. I would highly recommend him to any of my friends and family.

Phil is a very pleasant person and did a good job. He explained the various options to me before starting the work and also their drawbacks. He explained that the wall concerned in my 1930s built semi may not be thick enough for the new backbox which could result in the hole coming through on the other side. Also that the wall was made of flimsy material which would crumble when hacked into and that it would be difficult to get a fixing. He had earlier mentioned the option of leaving the single gang backbox intact and mounting a special 3-gang socket on to it. As I had already purchased the 3-gang metal backbox and socket I decided to have this installed. In the event, the wall proved to be just thick enough to accommodate the new 3-gang backbox and he has used glue to fix the backbox and socket. I will see tomorrow how effective this has been once the glue has set. Fingers crossed.
