Ranking Lubi's work only "Positive" doesn't do justice to him or his work. Lubi was outstanding and professional from the day he quoted until he left, having completed his job along with dozens of additional bits that arose along the way and were not on the original job request. Lubi spent little over over a month on all of the wood-work including a full kitchen installation, door and window frames and skirting board for an entire three-bedroom flat. Without failure, Lubi arrived to work by 8AM having already done his materials shopping required for the day. Although this seems like a small thing, it perfectly reflects Lubi's character of being fully prepared in order to dedicate himself entirely to his job rather than having to make trips during the day to fetch materials - as many tradespeople seem to do, wasting valuable hours in the middle of the day. Lubi's work is to a very high standard and I never got the impression he was attempting to cut corners or rush his job to finish it quicker. This was evidenced as he removed all the doors once he was done to allow the frames to be painted, only to have to come back and hang them again a month later! Lubi has now offered to go above and beyond, and without hesitation return again to fix a wood flooring issue cause by a previous under-qualified tradesperson. I can wholeheartedly recommend Lubi and look forward to calling upon him for my next carpentry needs. A 10/10 carpenter, well worth the very reasonable price!!

I shortlisted Kervin and he contacted me quickly to arrange a visit to look at the job and provide a quote for the work. I was impressed with Kervin's expertise in discussing the job. Once I received the quote, I was happy for Kervin to do the work and we agreed a start date and what preparation was required. Kervin arrived promptly on Monday 22nd November as arranged and he was able to do start the work in mapping out the work required, He was also very understanding as the tile delivery was delayed. Kervin worked hard and completed the work within the agreed timescale. The job was completed professionally and we are very pleased with the result. Kervin takes pride in his work and ensures the job is completed to a high standard. His communication before during and on completion of the job is excellent. I would definitely appoint Kervin for any future tiling projects.

From the minute we spoke to Chris, he immediately understood our requirements. He is extremely patient, creative and knowledgeable. We found the whole experience easy and all our explanations and ideas were communicated on the drawings. Chris is very approachable and his communication is excellent. He in fact provided so many ideas, that in the end we went with his suggestions we originally did not think of. At every stage of the application he has provided sound advice and contingencies we should look out for. Chris clearly shows a passion for his work and what you require. Starting a new family and new to the area, our plans for our dream house was very close to us and Chris and CDRC has provided us with the reassurance that we are in safe hands and our dream house can be realised. Furthermore, I like the way they work and do not take a penny of you until the drawings have been complete and submitted to the council, they even pay the council fee on your behalf up front! Highly recommended! - Very Happy!

I will be neutral in this review. Pros- Paolo was quick to respond to do all the jobs on my list (kitchen handles, tv wall brackets and shelving). We agreed on a date and informed him of the colour of handles. He was covid safe in my house. If he needed any items he went to the local hardware shop while on the job. He was flexible and agreed to put up a mirror which was outside of original scope but one job from the original scope had been removed. Cons- He got the wrong handles (despite several written messages stating the colour) forcing me go to Howden’s on the day and queue up for an hour to get the correct handles. Later he said he didn’t have to tools to install the kitchen handles anyway. I had to stop my day to help him with the tv bracket instructions. He did two out of three brackets agreed. After he left I realised there were missing elements in one bracket which I now have to rectify. There was inadequate protection put up in the areas being drilled - so a lot of dust ended up on the floor and furniture. He did offer to clear up later but there was no time. He made measuring errors which meant there are now four visible holes in my living room chimney breast at eye level. No apology received. He offered to put it right - if we wanted him to. Now we have to correct these visible defects. He also put up some shelving incorrectly and had to redo the holes. This is a factual account of events.
