Contacted Cai after he said he was interested in the job I had posted, within a couple of days he came out to have a look and give a quote. He left us to talk over the quote given and told us to contact him when we were ready. We contacted Cai to say we were happy for him to complete the job and he done just that. Had great expectations let down by terrible communication. The job was meant to start in march but understandably due to covid things were delayed. However this then started a repeated "I can fit you in in 2 weeks time" response up until august with me having to chase every two to three weeks to find out if they were coming or not. Text messages eventually responded to, phonecalls not answered. Being told a date 2 months or even 6 months later would have been fine considering the situation, but constant chasing is not acceptable. No idea about workmanship- it may well be great but unfortunately we never got that far.

Simon was polite and friendly and completed all indoor tasks to a good standard. Due to wet weather conditions, the gate and fence work was deferred to a later date by mutual agreement. We have scheduled additional work for when he returns. Will definitely recommend him.

Slav did a first class job of replacing the old fence panels and joining the new sections on to the original sections. He strengthened the posts, replaced one and made good the others, so that whole stretch of fencing is now all very strong and looks perfect. A really good job. Slav arrived at the agreed time to do the work, did the work for a fair price and I am delighted with the result. Slav is an excellent tradesman. I can highly recommend his work.

Quick response to my posting and came out to skim the ceiling within a few days. The guys done a great job very quick and efficient and cleaned up after the job was done. Looks so much better with the artex gone! Will be getting them back to skim over the bedroom ceiling next, highly recommended!

Needed my box room ceiling sorted, really uneven as we had moved walls. Dan had no issue completing this job for us at an excellent standard. Asked if he’d mind plaster other areas which he did with no problem. He’s friendly, polity and hard working. Will definitely be asking him to come back to do more work.

Don't be put off by the lack of reviews! Paul is fairly new to mybuilder but he is BRILLIANT. 3rd generation painter and decorater and very experienced! Don't hesitate to hire him! He gave me 2 days help painting my flat and did a fantastic job. Turned up early, worked like a trooper, left late. Tidy, pleasant company, polite- I could go on!!
