Expert, honest, professional and friendly. Cannot recommend Italo highly enough. He did a superb repair to a broken external limestone step and he and Jason also did a brilliant job of cleaning and resealing the whole patio area as well as offer their helpful advice and expertise on how to better care for the area going forward. They were both an absolute pleasure to work with! Thank you Italo and Jason!

Arrian is a top bloke. it was a joy for my nan to have someone with his attitude & work ethic make her garden great again. she was a florist for her whole life and her garden is her prized possession. proper shape of up of her hydrangeas & re weaving the vines along the hatch fence. he was more than happy to take direction from nan in trimming the rose bush to her image. thorough mowing of the lawn including trim of rogue blades round the patio. watered the lot & jet washed the patio to top it off. he weren't shy to sit and have a tea n a chat with her. building relationships with your clients is something up and coming gardners often overlook. TLDR; if u want a really, REALLY nice looking garden, Arrian is your bloke. he made my nan jump for joy & shes 92! how he got her to jump i'll never know, so clearly got a sprinkle of magic up his sleeve too.

Not many builders want to complete a job started by someone else. They took the job and more or less completed it.... I wasn't there to supervise so there are some finishes that could have used more polish and the mirror that was hung does not feel stable. However, they did install the toilet, sink and consolidated the pipes outside.

Giuseppe was fantastic. He completed the job ahead of schedule without compromising on the finish. The rooms look great and have been painted to a very high standard, Giuseppe prepared all the woodwork and walls ahead of painting which has led to such a great finish. We will definitely have Giuseppe over to do more of our decorating.

I highly recommend Sohail Faisal of Samz Construction Services Ltd. We chose Sohail's company to complete our Hip to Gable with Rear Dormer Loft Conversion in Guildford and we are delighted with the work. The job was completed to a high standard, within the expected timescale and on budget. Sohail's communication throughout is excellent, taking time to explain what work will be completed on which days, what is involved and how many people will be attending on which days to complete the work. Sohail also let me know exactly when deliveries of materials were arriving and when the skips would be collected etc. Sohail's team of builders are all very friendly, polite, and respectful and do a great job of cleaning up after themselves at the end of each day. In terms of price and payment schedule, this was fair and efficient. Sohail has a payment schedule that works really well - invoicing for staggered payments at certain points, i.e. on delivery of materials, then when the building inspector signs off the first job etc. this makes you feel at ease with the job and confident that everything is always on track. All around I am really happy with the project and have no doubts about recommending Sohail to family and friends - I have already asked Sohail to quote on my next project.

Gutter fell due to the snow this morning. They were one of the first to respond to my post and said they were happy to come out and fix it (even though the snow was coming down heavy). They arrived quickly and had the gutter back up and secured in no time.

Hired Ali to remove wallpaper and to decorate two bedrooms next to some other tasks. It all started quite well with him making good progress in getting off the wallpaper, filling and making good the walls but then it deteriorated rapidity. Project management was chaotic, protection of surfaces spotty and the young guy he brought in to finish the decoration clearly lacked decorating skills and attention to detail. Walls were stripy, paint splashed on carpet, newly set sockets were painted over, Mastic applied around doors and skirting looks dirty and messy and and and….It was me instead of Ali that did the quality control but it was a hopeless task as Ali’s staff clearly lacked experience and knowledge. At the end I’ve just wanted to get them out and accepted a substandard finish. Ali is a nice guy and tries his best, but based on my experience, I could not make a recommendation

Conversions - General- 29 Dec 2021
We struggled to get anyone interested in our refurbishment project originally, Mark answered an ad for a small part of the job and ended up being able to take on the whole thing thankfully. Our project was to completely strip out a 1960's maisonette flat, install internal insulation which involved extensive battening of all the external walls, new plasterboarding & plastering finishes to walls and ceilings, tiling and a completely new bathroom and kitchen install. To complicate things further, as enthusiastic DIY-ers we wanted to do lots of works ourselves as well and few builders would have worked alongside novices as well as Mark did. He was always happy to give advice or take over works when we realised they were beyond our skills or time ;-) Our project was constantly evolving and challenging - as we discovered hidden rotting floor joists and the joys of 60's engineering - door lintels - who needs those?! Mark was always there to help us problem solve and get the job done professionally and to high standards and this was all done throughout the challenging last year of lockdowns etc. Without hesitation we'd recommend Mark and his team. He was always reliable, flexible as the project developed and had excellent attention to detail and we couldn't have completed our project without him. Thank you Mark!
