I wish I took the negative comments more seriously before hiring Edi for my bathroom but he downplayed them very well, promised a great quality of job plus the pictures on his profile showed jobs properly done so I trusted him. What a mistake! I had exactly the same problems as described in the previous negative feedback. Basic errors with laying the tiles – not only uneven lines but also wrongly cut tiles that left plenty of gaps (he even covered one of the gaps between the wall and floor with a sealant!, others with too thick layers of adhesive or grout, which just look awful). He wasted many tiles unnecessarily too and wasn’t even able to apply the grout correctly; missing many tiles, creating lumps and failing to clean the grout from the tiles after application causing their discolouration! Not to mention plumbing problems – leak that gets fixed only for a couple of hours and then returns. The quality of job is of an amateur, not a professional. Unfortunately, there doesn’t seem to be an option to attach images to the feedback - I have plenty of them so please contact me before thinking about working with this person. He promised to correct the errors but I'm still waiting for this to be done nearly three weeks after the job was apparently finished. He is also avoiding contact. I hope MyBuilder will take relevant steps. My advice is – spare yourself the unnecessary stress and wasted money and HIRE SOMEONE ELSE!

Andrew (Busy Brush) undertook a prolonged period of work at our house. This included plastering, decorating (internal and external), carpentry, central heating plumbing and 'odd jobs'. He was thoroughly professional at all times, being punctual and trustworthy. He kept us informed of progress and finished works in a timely manner. We were very pleased with the end result and the pricing was fair. We would not hesitate to recommend his work in the future.

I’ve waited a week before giving feedback just in case I overreacted. NO I HAVEN'T OVERREACTED. The job was discussed beforehand with Amishadai, & whilst I said ‘it wasn’t the Ritz’, I told him that ‘ALL’ ceilings & walls should be double coated with emulsion, a coat of Undercoat & Top coat on doors & skirtings & NO painting the UPVC window frames. A price was agreed. Disappointed with the work is putting it mildly. Amishadai & colleague completed the work in two & a half days (you can't do that job properly in less than 4 days – All paint has to dry, particularly Oil based paints). There is paint over the: Window frames, Natural Wood curtain rail brackets were painted (Why?), Hall light ceiling rose, 13 amp Plugs, Light Switches, Electric Meter Box & Door handles (did they even bother ‘cutting in’ with a BRUSH?). Half the skirting doesn't appear to have been painted in either an undercoat or top coat (just splodged in emulsion from the roller), I don’t even think some of the doors were undercoated first either. Amishadai appears to have watered down the ‘WHITE’ emulsion paint (To my knowledge you only water down emulsion if you are painting directly over new plaster), & one of the rooms looks like it didn’t even get the 2nd coat of emulsion. This company certainly didn't provide me with what I have paid them for. In conclusion, I would advise anyone on here to avoid this company. No, I haven’t overreacted, I have the photos to prove it.

Hard Flooring- 17 Nov 2021
I would highly recommend Matthew. He was able to prioritise my job, to fit flooring in my kitchen living area, and came to do the work at short notice. He has done a fantastic job so far and it is yet to be completed. Matthew is very thorough and meticulous in his work. I have high expectations and he is just as much of a perfectionist as I am. Really pleased I opted to shortlist Matthew. Please don’t hesitate to instruct him. You won’t be disappointed.

The quality of the turfing work itself was good, and I'm pleased with the overall appearance of the lawn. The team was professional and worked efficiently while they were here. However, I have to lower my rating because there were a few finishing items that were meant to be completed, and despite saying they would return, they never did. It's disappointing to have to chase up work that should have been finished as agreed. Overall, the main job was completed to a good standard, but the lack of follow-up and aftercare means I can't give a higher rating.

I was very, very happy with Dave's work. He did a lot for us and he is very polite and very helpful. I would say Dave is a very professional guy and have a very good team too. He got my job done to an excellent standard. For those extra jobs occoured during the work, Dave has given me a very good price and completed those to an high standard.
