Tom contacted me to discuss what needed to be done. He explained very well what he would do. We agreed on a competitive price and time for the work to be carried out. Tom also provided me with pictures of similar work he had completed. Tom arrived at the agreed time and got to work straight away. The work was carried out efficiently and neatly, with all debris cleared away. I would recommend Tom for future work.

Brendan and co were absolutely fantastic, The workmanship was excellent, nothing was too much trouble, even though I am very picky, having OCD. Everything was done exactly how I wanted. A brilliant job at a reasonable price. Plus they cleaned up after themselves and made sure everything was perfect before they left. All I want now is the sun so I can sit out in my beautiful new garden and show it off.

Avoid JJ GAS Services – Unsafe and Incompetent Review: I hired JJ GAS Services via My Builders to install a gas boiler, but the experience has been nothing short of a nightmare. The work was riddled with incompetence, safety risks, and unprofessional behaviour, leaving me with no choice but to hire other tradesmen to rectify their numerous failings. 1. Incomplete and Dangerous Work: JJ GAS Services left critical issues unresolved, including gas and water leaks, low boiler pressure, and disconnected pipes. These issues not only caused significant delays but also posed serious safety risks to my family and neighbours. Despite being paid £3,500 in advance for the 2nd fix, they failed to complete even the first fix properly. This sedonf phase was not carried out when a gas leak was found. I realised safety before money was a priority. 2. Lack of Accountability: JJ frequently denied responsibility for obvious problems, even when presented with photographic and video evidence. Instead of investigating leaks or addressing pressure drops, they shifted blame onto other tradesmen. 3. Missed Appointments and Poor Communication: JJ GAS Services repeatedly missed appointments without explanation. Their communication was dismissive and unreliable, often claiming to be "too busy" to resolve urgent issues. I had to chase them for updates, send formal complaints, and still saw no progress for months. 4. Financial and Property Damage: Their negligence resulted in water damage to my neighbour’s property, additional repair costs, and the need to hire another gas engineer to complete the job. Their incompetence caused delays to other renovation work, including underfloor heating, tiling, and painting. 5. Untrustworthy and Unprofessional: It became clear they had no motivation to complete the job after receiving full payment in advance. Their inability to resolve even basic issues over several months made me lose all confidence in their abilities. Conclusion: Hiring JJ GAS Services was a costly mistake. Their unsafe and incomplete work, lack of accountability, and unprofessional conduct caused immense stress, financial loss, and significant delays. I strongly advise against using their services if you value your time, money, and safety. Rating: ★☆☆☆☆
