Ali recently installed laminate/vinyl flooring in my home and did a fantastic job. He visited beforehand to inspect the space, which showed real responsibility and professionalism. The work was completed to a very high standard — the finish is clean, precise, and really transformed the room. He was punctual, polite, tidy, and worked efficiently throughout. His pricing was very fair and offered excellent value for the quality delivered. Ali was also extremely helpful and took the time to answer all my questions, making sure I was comfortable at every step. I’ve since hired him for other jobs, and he always shows the same care, skill, and reliability. It’s rare to find someone this committed, honest, and easy to work with. He genuinely takes pride in what he does, and it shows in the results. I’ll continue using Ali for future work and have recommended him to friends and family. To say Nick is just a kitchen fitter isn’t doing his work justice, he’s a fantastic project manager and craftsmen as well. When we first met Nick he took 2 hours of his time running through all the options which was when we realised we were actually quite clueless! Although we hadn’t hired him at this point his advice was invaluable. We assumed this would mean Nick’s professionalism would mean he would be very expensive, this was not the case and he was actually a little cheaper than the other parties who quoted. Once Nick started it became apparent that he and his assistant Chow to great pride in their work and worked hard to get the job finished as quickly as possible to the highest standard. They left the site spotless at the end of each day. The result is a fantastic kitchen and flooring which we are extremely happy with. We are already thinking about the next renovation piece in our home and would love to use Nick again. Thanks Nick! Niall & Hannah

I can highly recommend this company, Steve showed me immediately he knew what he was doing and gave some good advise and a very competitive price. He turned up when he said he would and did the job in four day. Even when there was an issue with dimensions not of his making, he dealt with it at no extra cost. Very professional, very competitive and I would definately recommend.

Many thanks to Kris abd Kane on a job well done. Despite the very tight schedule, they completely refurbished our bathroom transforming it to a high-end (hotel standard) wet room. Kris's original quote was very competitive. There were extras, but these were very reasonable. Once the job was completed Kris actually came back to install 4 or 5 grab bars without additional cost. Kris, and Kane are both very easy to get on with; thoughtful and calm characters. I travelled abroad during the job; Kris contacted me regularly and responded promptly when I reached out to him. As with any job' there were glitches but Kris's solution focus approach ensured a good outcome. Hope to work with this company again.

Chris completed the works at my house in June 2024, the works included: - removal of internal walls to make open plan downstairs - new kitchen - new WC - flooring - decorating - plumbing - electrics - bespoke joinery He was great to work this and completed the project to a very high standard. He attended site every day over a 4 week period and was committed to complete the job on time. I would recommend Chris and his team to others. Chris was even kind enough to install blinds, a media wall and build a wardrobe at no extra cost. Cheers!

Overall, Duo Builders is good and I would recommend for any build work. Pros: 1. Committed to work and informed when not coming on any particular day 2. Had manpower allowing to add more hands if needed 3. Reliable people and nice staff / Team of young members 4. Does and completes work that was planned and agreed Cons: 1. Job took a lot of time than estimated as it was not thoroughly thought how the earth would be moved 2. Very hard to hold off the owner, its important for the client to be stay connected and informed. 3. Bit messy and site gets put of shape than original
