I interviewed a few electricians for my rewire and Tom from Electrical Power Solutions was not only the first to make the time to come along but he also made the best impression. He was willing to talk technical details to understand exactly what I wanted, but also happy to explain things where I didn't understand them. Electrical Power Solutions were really easy and straight forward to deal with throughout. The re-wire took 4 days in total (a little broken up because we were fitted in among previously committed jobs) and they left the house looking great (let's not forget how invasive a full re-wire is). I'm really grateful for the work they did and would absolutely hire them again.

'Nico' was one of the first tradesmen to reply to my advertisement, and after describing the problem (pigeons nesting in the guttering above my apartment and making an awful mess) he said that he could attend the same day (a Sunday) and fix the problem. He arrived at the time he said he would, and I found him to be a smart young man, who appeared to know what he was talking about, and after surveying the guttering found that it was blocked with pigeons mess and the gutter was full of water. He then gave me a fixed price (£100) to complete the job. Having cleared the blockage of mess he then took apart the guttering to release the water. He then filled the gap in the soffit where the pigeons were nesting and put up pigeon spikes to stop them from returning. All this was done on a cold windy Sunday afternoon, and the Job was left clean and tidy. I found 'Nico' to be very amiable and would certainly recommend him.

Graham is excellent. He took my inspo photos and created exactly what I wanted. Despite technical issues with the electrical item I purchased for installation (no fault of Graham's) and wonky walls, he completed the job professionally and promptly. Graham is clear in his communication, very friendly, conscientious and trustworthy. Would recommend!

Overall - Excellent windows and service marred by poor quality of additional requested works. Two double glaze, timber framed sash windows were ordered and fitted. The windows appear to be of excellent quality and the fitting service was very good. Bali, the project coordinated, provided up to date communications throughout and worked hard to ensure that the fitting took place as soon as possible, but at our convenience. In addition to the windows improved draft proofing of the existing front door took was requested. Unfortunately this work was conducted to a poor standard and is now far worse than it was originally. Once draft proofing was fitted and the door rehung, the door no longer fitted and drafts and noise had significantly increased. I was apparently made aware that this might be the case (I wasn't) and was told that I would still have to pay for this work although, if I wanted a new door (at significant cost!) I could claim back the cost of the draft proofing against the cost of the door. This is slightly infuriating as I wouldn't need a new door if the work had been done correctly! For this reason I have to give negative feedback, which is unfortunate as the windows and service surrounding them was excellent.

Richard and Paul his colleague did a fantastic job all the way. Both are hard working and very professional in the work they did. Even during these difficult times they were willing to go above and beyond to get the work completed with the correct materials and building standards, they would not take any shortcuts. They were patient and approached all my doubts and curiosities professionally. Out of the three Companies I shortlisted, Richard was outstanding from the beginning, he was patient in listening and taking notes of what I wanted, provided a quote that was reasonable and delivered at expected. I strongly recommend them whether job is small or big, you will be happy. Good Luck.
