AMH tiling were excellent from start to finish. Provided a competitive quote and took the time to explain what it was made up of so no hidden extras. Arrived when agreed and always punctual, worked tirelessly and to a very high standard. Worked tidy throughout the whole 4 day job and left the job immaculate.Couldn't be happier with the end result, the workmanship or the level of customer service given by them. Couldn’t fault the work that was carried out, he made sure everything was protected before starting (including the stairs and hallway leading up to the room he was plastering). Work looks fantastic and he left the place in the same state as when he found it. The lads a good character as well, we have even asked him for a quote on some more bits around the house.

External window resealing carried out, but preparation and finish were below expected standard. Old sealant and flaking surfaces were not fully removed, and sill/corner detailing was poor, raising durability concerns. I paid a reduced amount to reflect this. Recommend agreeing materials and preparation in detail before work starts.

It pains me to leave such a review but companies need to do better, and it starts with treating people better. Brielfy, had a Glo Worm boiler installed in same location as old boiler at £3000 cash; in hindsight I now realise this was too expensive but I will take responsibility for not carrying out due diligence. Several issues with installation - Hive was incorrectly wired up (neutral to live live to neutral - not a minor fault!). Flue was loose and not secured and fan boiler fan was replaces by a Glo Worm engineer after being told all was ok with it. I was quoted a few hundred quid cheaper for a more expensive Worcester boiler, which, again, in hindsight.... this was a red flag. Finally, we planned to fit 4 radiators and TRVs - I was given a days notice (a Sunday) despite a previous message stating I won't be available. Last comms was asking if they can look at alternative dates.... nothing. Ignored. I don't normally leave negative reviews - must do better.

It is a new build house we are doing. It is the first time we have worked together. Simon is very professional, thorough, very constructive about things - he is working for us as a main contractor. He has some good subcontractors and they work well together - tried and tested on site. He is good at managing them to get everything complete. He is doing a good job for us. He is competitive and is good at his job, I would recommend him.

After wasting my time with a number of roofers who didn't seem interested, I posted my leaking roof on my builder. I had a good number of responses, NL Roofing have good reviews, and Nathan turned up to see the job exactly when he said he would. Unfortunately my 1953 roof was beyond repair, so I've had a whole new roof. The work carried out is of a high quality, with good materials and excellent craftsmanship. I'm very impressed with the rate of progress, the team worked very hard. And did a good job of clearing up all the mess at the end. However 3 weeks later the scaffolding was still up, I managed to track down the the owner of the scaffolding via "scaff police" on Facebook and gave R&L Scaffolding Ltd a call, they said they didn't know the scaffolding was finished with and came to collect the next working day... Its odd and frustrating to have been stuck with the scaffolding for so many extra weeks and as far as I can tell no reason.. that's why I've reduced my review to 4 stars.
