Loft Conversion- 8 Aug 2019
When we decided to have our loft converted we had a number of quotes and also a recommendation. We chose not to go with the recommended company, whose work we had seen as we instantly liked Steve when he came round to give us a quote. He was friendly and courteous and straight to the point. We felt that we could trust him from the first meeting. (I always trust my gut instinct with people and am usually right!) Now that the work is finished, we absolutely love our loft extension and cannot believe how little disruption and mess was made throughout. Every workman involved in the project respected our house and constantly cleaned and tidied as they went along. This helped enormously as we both work and the last thing we wanted was to clean up every evening. Steve gave us a timescale of 6-8 weeks and as promised it was completed in this time, he also kept us continually updated and informed of next steps and also got back to us immediately when we contacted him. I hate cliches but all of the tradesmen went the extra mile which was amazing, especially after having read nightmare stories of other people’s experiences. A special thanks has to go to Wayne who plastered and decorated for us-his work is amazing. We would definitely recommend Redstone Construction to other people and everyone who has seen our loft extension has loved it. Thank you Steve and the team for giving us a dream bedroom with a bigger than average en suite.

Nick was super helpful in rescuing us from a bodge build as our previous builder who were AR building contractors Ltd ( defiantly don’t use AR building contractors Ltd as he’s a cowboy builder and scam artist) From the start, Nick of N A A construction has provide excellent communication throughout project, a structured program of works and a professional completion. The team that Nick provided to execute the works, were first class in all aspects and have been helpful around structuring cost due to monies taken from previous builder. I recommend Nick and would definitely use again.

From quoting promptly for a straightforward re-wire of an early 60’s bungalow to the ensuing remodel and extension, LHM proved to be extremely professional, trustworthy and flexible from day one in the way they managed the many variations that were incorporated along the way. The close co-operation with all the contractors on site meant when planning and building delays were incurred these were managed effectively through good communication with everyone involved. Very knowledgeable, providing good advice and up to date with current legislation, we were given options/ideas which provided for modern equivalents of products that would save energy and enhanced the re-model. They kept within their quote and all additional expenditure during the expanded project was discussed and agreed throughout. Their site practice was very good clearing up each day and we were never left without electricity or unlit/unsafe areas. We are delighted with the high quality of the finished installations and have no hesitation in recommending LHM Electrical for any aspect of electrical work and indeed have already done so. We shall use them as our ‘go to’ company for our electrical needs in the future. Thank you LHM Electrical for everything over the past 12 months, not least your humour.

DO NOT HIRE THIS MAN. Cut into my wall unnecessarily and did it with a drill instead of a proper cutting tool like an amateur, he caused a leak by drilling into a water pipe, did a dodgy patch up job, the guy who came to repair this time couldn't believe what he had done. When it started leaking like crazy after a few weeks he said he will fix it then refused to show up, stopped answering my calls and responding to texts. This man is a fraud and does more damage than good, do not hire this guy under any circumstances, if he had dignity he would cover the cost of the damaged pipe but he decided to go into hiding, pathetic. Even when he did the job originally, created an almighty mess and left without cleaning it up.
