Polite, efficient and friendly plumber. Gene explained everything he was doing whilst repairing the pipes and taps and completed the job within the time scale he predicted. He is knowledgeable, professional and inspired confidence. Definitely recommend his plumbing service and will use again without hesitation.

Ian has done an excellent job. He cleared gutter blockage, and stayed to demonstrate that water was now free flowing. He explained what he was doing really well, turned up on time and did what he said he'd do. Professional and thorough. I can't recommend him highly enough.

Steve was professional from the time he came around to look at the job (building a concrete slab for a pergola) until the time it was finished. He responded to our messages really quickly, was polite and courteous and came up with a solution when something didn’t go to plan. His team started on time, were helpful and friendly and worked hard - they didn’t stop until they had finished the plan for the day. The end product was better than we expected and everything was tidied up at the end, so it almost looked like they’d never been! We are looking forward to Steve fitting the decking on the pergola and have been so impressed that we are going to ask him back to do some more landscaping work. Thank you Steve and team. Would highly recommend.

Geoff ,due to His honesty put that He Has only recently joined Mybuilder and therefore has low feed back . He arrived on time to look at the job and as it was a complex job , doing second fix following first fix by another Electrician ,He fairly quoted on day rates allowing three days to complete the work and no further charge if it took longer .Due to His reasonable quote and His ability to start the following day ,I accepted His quote . He arrived on time and even though the job took longer ,Geoff was still methodical in His work and did a thorough test of all the circuits and didn't stop until he was satisfied with the result .Although the process took a lot longer than He thought ,I asked Him if He was ok with the quote amount ,and He said " no it's fine ,I'm happy with that" . I found Geoff to be a sociable person ,and very calm ,who explained the process well ,before during and after .He kept a clean workplace ,and I could not fault Him in any aspect of the work done . I would highly recommend Him to anyone ,including family and friends and I am glad I gave Him the chance despite His low feedback ( short time on Mybuilder ).I wish Him well with His new venture .I will definitely have Him back to complete more work as the extension progresses ,thanks Geoff !.

I’m disappointed with my experience with Scott. While his quote was competitive and he seemed professional, the overall quality, especially finishing and attention to detail, was very poor. Grout lines were inconsistent (some 5mm, others wider or narrower), and my concerns were dismissed. Some slabs weren’t even level, leading to water pooling due in areas. From the start, I stressed the need for neat, precise cuts with porcelain slabs. Despite this, many cuts were rough and chipped. I understand porcelain is delicate, but I expected greater care and proper tools. Towards the end, I allowed him to continue after raising concerns, but the steps were still poorly finished. Promised fixes didn’t resolve the issues. I stopped the job, withheld £1043, and hired another landscaper to redo parts and complete the work, costing £800+. Looks okay from far but issues still remain. I would not recommend Scott for porcelain patio work if you want a high-quality and precise finish.

I can't speak more highly of Carl and his team, Carl stopped me from making a costly mistake in spending twice the money on a system which would not have done what I wanted to do but was recommended by another installer. He took the time and trouble to explain everything in detail and helped me to choose a more appropriate boiler. Once we'd agreed which route to take Carl and his team arrived promptly when they said they would and work was completed on time and at the agreed price despite some issues arising which were related to existing pipework, Carl and his team sorted these issues out and made sure I was completely happy with everything before they left. If you're in the market for a new boiler/central heating then do yourself a favour and speak to Carl first, you won't be disappointed.
