POOR ATTENTION TO DETAIL AND A COMPLETE UNWILLINGNESS TO RECTIFY AND FOLLOW UP. IMPOSSIBLE TO GET HOLD OF ONCE THEY HAVE YOUR MONEY. The work they did was completed in our absence, they seemed to have done a satisfactory job and so we paid them, £450 for front bay window rendering. It was always agreed that we would then paint it when finished. In preparation for painting we saw that work had been completed to a less than adequate standard. We contacted Andrew repeatedly so that they could make good their work. He told us to contact his brother Sean, refusing to deal with us directly. Sean has repeatedly made appointments with us, causing us to take time off work only to cancel at the last minute or not to show up at all. They have done a less than satisfactory job and once paid there was no attempt to correct it the work.

Look no further. Dean was fantastic from the initial visit to measure up for his quote, right through to completion. He takes pride in his work and was very patient with us when we wanted any changes or additional work carried out. He was on site everyday (including Saturdays towards the end) and always informed us if he wasn't going to be here on any given day. The area was always left tidy at the end of the working day. I have other building work that I want doing one day knowing I won't hesitate to give Dean a call. Very friendly and keeps you updated with his progress throughout. I 100% recommend Dean, top bloke and top builder.

They were hired to rectify the subpar work of a previous contractor. The previous builder had installed a pocket door system but failed to include any doors or construct the system properly. However, C. Oakes and Sons confidently assured us they could assist in installing the four pocket doors despite these issues. They successfully installed all four doors and sourced parts to create doorstops, as none had been incorporated into the system. We were very pleased with their work and will definitely engage their services again in the future.
