Colin was very efficent, mine was a difficult job to do, but sussed it how and did it in a shorter time than he would. He left everything clean and tidy. It was lovely to meet Brendon who came when he said he would, diagnosed the problem of my leaking tap, arranged to get the replacement parts needed and completed the repair within a short period of time at a very reasonable cost. I was kept well informed while the job was ongoing and we're very pleased with the finished result. Disappointing. Stephen & Son took on a job at our property to install a kitchen, fit a laminate wood flooring, hang 3 doors and a few other finishing bits. Stephen & son were pleasant enough to talk to but we found their workmanship quite poor with no attention to detail. The kitchen was appeared to be fitted ok but on closer inspection the unit doors had to be tightened, the worktop was left in precarious position awaiting for it to be cut (which has now bowed it) and they have no returned to make good. The wood flooring was quite poorly fitted with gaps around the kitchen and surrounding areas, gaps in flooring, threshold’s hanging off and one stuck down with a blob of caulk! We had to get them to come back to address issues but failed to do so, we have to fit thresholds ourselves as they did not return. The doors hung poorly, didnt countersink the latches (hand to come back to sort) and still let with screw hanging out and one door not shutting… We paid them in good will to finish the job and text multiple times asking for then to return to make good the work, texts and all calls have been ignored now and the job is left unfinished… Stephen charges £300 per day (£200 for him and £100 for a son that is learning) but effectively you get the work of one decent tradesman and a sub standard finish. We have tried to contact several times before leaving this review…unacceptable!
