Painting & Decorating- 11 Sep 2015
Toms a nice fella, but his workmanship is less than impressive. for example he doesn't remove or even loosen door handles, but simply masks them off. Several of our handles now have paint round them or when the tape has been removed, some paint has come off the doors too. It's the same with light switches - Tom doesn't bother to loosen them. But my biggest problem with Tom is he takes no responsibility for when things go wrong choosing to blame the plaster, the wallpaper, the mural, the paste etc. As a businessman I know that your paid on the end result, but Tom's attitude is that he's put in the hours so should be paid regardless. We had 2 papers and a mural hung -all ended up unsuccessful, albeit one that we just didn't like the look of - so that one wasn't Toms fault. The other paper had 1mm gaps bewteen the seama and brown marks up them too which I assume is from the paste (Tom said it was rubbish paper and the plaster sucking the paste in too quick). The Mural was poorly seam matched & only stuck in places. Tom laid the blame with hanging the paper horizontally whilst he'd said it should be vertical (even tho the image would be 90 degrees out). There's not enough room here for me to describe ,my disappointment with the final outcome, but what sums up Tom's attitude perfectly was, when he was peeling off the ill fated mural and it was bringing bits of paint and plaster with it, he commented to my wife "look at what it's doing!" - Obviously nothing to do with Tom!!

We were intially happy with the patio that Paul laid for us but within weeks slabs started to lift, he returned twice to rectify this but more have since become loose and one has cracked where there wasn't enought cement underneath. Got the feeling he wasnt interested by the end of ĺthe job as the finish wasnt great and we had to grout places he had left ourselves Screws missing on gate - also not straight. Messaged him several times and he promised he'd return but has now ghosted us completely. Really disappointed after paying almost £6000 - and still waiting for a receipt for final payment. Re Builders reply- screws missing when you left. You relaid two tiles only. We do not even own a jet wash. And I had to regrout the patio myself as you left without completing the job.Tile cracked as insufficient cement underneath. You only posted reply when I sent a formal letter as advised from citizens advice. You have posted absolute lies and caused us untold stress.

The lads that completed the job not only completed it but pretty much built a custom vision for the project we decided to go with as it was better than ours. The job was completed on budget using high quality materials, no corners were cut and executed to a high level of finish. All rubbish was removed and they were all very professional, polite and courteous. Updates and troubleshooting was dealt with daily and on a timely manner. When I next have work to be completed I will be asking Will and his fantastic crew without any hesitation. They werent the cheapest but also not the most expensive. But if you want a job doing - it's got to be right..(!) You won't regret hiring them.

Absolutely delighted with the transformation of my garden! The work included laying new turf, installing timber edging and relaying the patio. The difference is incredible, and the garden looks completely transformed. The attention to detail and quality of workmanship have been excellent throughout. Everything has been finished to a really high standard, and the whole garden now looks neat, tidy and professionally done. Really pleased with the end result and couldn't recommend them highly enough. Fantastic job from start to finish!

Adam did an excellent job fixing our toilet. He ran into some unexpected difficulties during the work but managed to overcome them and complete everything to a very good standard. Communication was excellent throughout, and he gave really helpful advice along the way. He also managed to come a day earlier due to a cancellation, which was a great help to us. Very professional, knowledgeable and reliable. Highly recommended.
