The accuracy of my fitting far exceeds that of your average kitchen fitter. This is because I have been working to tolerances of 1/1000 of an inch as an engineer. Jimmy has done lots of work for our company. He does a lot of our kitchen fits for us. We work on a supply basis and then ask the fitters to install for us. In the last 4 years he has done lots of work for us - we always get goods feedback for Jimmy - all the customers say he is very thorough. The most recent kitchen was completed about a month ago and the customer emailed in and said what a great job he had done and how impressed she was. He is a real gem.

2 story extension front and back. Luke built the shell up for our 2 story extension, was very professional and knowledge, there was a few unforeseeable issues with the build that he came across which he was able to fix very easily, workmanship was extremely neat and pretty much everybody who has seen the work has commented on how neat it has been, our plasterer who came in afterwards has he's taken a lot of care not just inside but also on the finish inside as a lot of builders only care about outside and leave other to sort the inside out but luckily not luke, he also helped out massively when let down by other trades to help catch up and get ready for 1st fix trades, we also added in a lot of extras which weren't originally discussed but the work got carried out as usual to a very high standard at a very reasonable cost. They work very fast only really being held up by weather. I would definitely recommend Lh builders for any building work you need.

Steve and his crew have been amazing. I set a difficult task for any builder to get part of the work done 2 weeks before Christmas due to how our house purchase shannanigans went. All builders put us off but SFD did not. They powered through with 2 weeks to go, worked up to the 23rd extremely late to give us piece of mind. We sprung a leak through my own stupidity the same night and even at 9pm Steve answered and was back in 20minutes to find and resolve it. They ar back in my home working away, working to a high standard, cleaning up after themselves and always willing to discuss working being carried out. SFD have been on time, polite, corteous and most of all patient and brilliant with my children even when being annoyed. They are transparent,will advise of issues they come across that may have been hidden and try to give you a number of options. They always advise in advance of anything that my add an additional cost and let you decide on action to be taken. I have used my builder on a few occasions and it has to be said, SFD have been a god send and continue to out shine anyone I have used in the past. I would recommended them over anyone anytime and will be using these guys only for additional work I want carried out. If you want reliability, professionalism and quality work just don’t look further!!! Additionally they are passionate about their work and actually give suggestions and house layout improvements you may not consider!!

Dave is a great guy — always on time and works to a really high standard. He did a professional job from start to finish. He completely ripped out the old bathroom and re-plastered all the walls. Throughout the project, he worked hard and kept me updated as he went along, which I really appreciated. We did run into a small issue with a radiator that needed to come off one wall. I got a plumber in to remove it, and even though Dave didn’t have to, he came back afterwards to finish the plastering properly. That really showed his commitment to doing a quality job. I’ll definitely be using Dave again — highly recommend!

Ryan answered my call and came to have a look at the job a couple of days later. He was very friendly and professional and his price and timescale were, acceptable so I employed him. He arrived on time and repaired my leaking radiator in the lounge and installed a new one in the dining room. I was so impressed with his work, that I've asked him to carry out another plumbing job in the bathroom. Thank you.

Turned up, quoted a fair price and carried out the work to a good standard. I have already asked him to do some more jobs for me as a tradesman that actually turns up when he says he will and just gets on with doing the job is a rare find. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Peter the Plasterer came in, saw the state of my project home 😅, and somehow didn’t run away—already impressive 👏. Then he plastered three rooms (ceilings included), plus the hallways, stairs, and landing, and made it all look ridiculously perfect ✨. The finish is so smooth I’m pretty sure I’ve caught myself admiring the walls more than anything else in the house 😂. He was on time ⏰, worked hard 💪, and just got on with it—no fuss, no nonsense, just top-quality work 👌. Would 100% recommend 🙌. Just be warned: your standards will go up, and suddenly every other wall you see in life will disappoint you 😄.

I received quotes from numerous companies for a complete house renovation including a double story side/rear extension and single story kitchen extension to completely transform a property from an old 3 bed semi to a modern 4 bed. Paul from PMCS Joinery came out as scheduled and was quick to provide a comprehensive quote that was broken down and detailed so I was clear what was included/not included and it was transparent. The quote was competitive and as Paul had come highly recommend and I’d seen some of his work I went with them. A start date was agreed and work commenced on time. Paul managed the project ensuring all work was at a high standard, Paul was always on site. All trades he brought in were professional and quality. Paul and his teams joinery was exceptional, all his staff polite and courteous. Any extras or challenges Paul managed and talked me through any ideas, options and costs. The quote was honoured despite materials rising. I’ve recommended PMCS to many friends, neighbours and family. The house has been complete to a high standard and I’ve been pleased from start to finish and highly recommend them.
