Sam and his team responded quickly and clearly The job was carried out quickly and efficiently. They responded well to all requests and were helpful with advice. left the area clear and tidy, removing all rubbish and materials used There was a little problem but this was mainly due to the lawn being laie just as heatwave started, but they responded immediately without any fuss and remedied.it I will definitely be asking them to do more work for me

We recently had our kitchen refurbished by Dumitru, and we couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out. He’s one of those rare builders who combines professionalism with real care for the details. He worked efficiently, kept the place tidy throughout the project, and always cleaned up after himself — which honestly made such a difference when living through a renovation. What I appreciated most was how supportive he was when it came to choosing the right materials. He guided us through the options without ever pushing, and his advice proved spot-on. The final result is exactly what we hoped for and more. If you’re looking for someone reliable, skilled, and easy to work with, I totally recommend Dumitru P.S. I hired Karan Buttar for my loft conversion, kitchen extension, and refurbishment of the existing house. I selected Karan after he contacted me through “mybuilder.com” website. I shortlisted 6 builders. Of the 6 builders who priced my job, I found Karan to be the most knowledgeable and credible. His proposal for my project was fairly easy to understand and delivered on the same day he visited my house, which I found impressive! I knew my project was fairly big (total cost was over £100K) and I wanted someone I could trust. Whilst Karan was not the cheapest, he was not the most expensive. I was looking for good quality work at a reasonable price. Now that the project is complete, I can say Butter Construction delivered to my expectations. Karan’s team are honest and completely reliable. There are some language barrier issues with the work force, but generally it is possible to work around this without significant problems. We had frequent and regular meetings with Karan and he did manage this without too much difficulty. Some of his guys speak good English. I was able to change scope and negotiate openly and honestly with Karen about cost changes. If I was not happy with any aspect of the work, I informed Karen and changes were agreed without fuss. When his men got things wrong, Karen simply got them to change it without trying to provide any excuses. In summary, I would not hesitate in recommending Karan/ Buttar Construction for your project.

Incompetent and vacuous. Didn’t read the plans or sizes at the start, which meant many crappy adjustments were made throughout, ie sink on the wrong side, oven protruding out etc. Anything that seemed hard was an ‘extra’ cost. Damaged most items that were installed and then refused to change them as it was too much effort. Quality of workmanship was very low, and finishes were terrible, when requested to amend he flatly refused. He seemed very inexperienced and possibly had never fitted a kitchen or bathroom before. Once he had received 90% of the contract money he started refusing to do things and not turning up, eventually leaving the job unfinished. He totally ignored requests to finish the job and kept our keys!! He is supposed to be a qualified gas engineer - however managed to break our boiler and then refused to fix it as he didn’t know how. I mean it’s just lunacy! We have since had another quote to complete the work and fix all the damage he caused which is the same price as what we have already paid. The new builder noted the work used primitive methods and was substandard. I would not recommend Nikolay at all. Total nightmare to deal with and unbearably unprofessional. I can only assume the other positive reviews on here are from his friends!!

Matthew came and looked at the leaking tap, explained why he advised the tap needed replacing, and gave a free quote. We accepted the quote; Matthew ordered the tap and returned a few days later to install it. It was all done tidily including fitting isolation valves beneath the basin where there were none; we are pleased with the replacement tap.
