  We are renovating our house. Pete has knocked walls down, built new internal walls, hung doors, laid a wood floor, put down new skirting boards and best of all built and created my lovely new kitchen and utility room. I cannot fault his workmanship it is of an excellent and very high standard. He is very efficient and always turns up when he says he will be there. Pete is also extremely good at giving you ideas on how to resolve issues that arise. I would highly recommend him.

  The team was provided with the roofing tiles that the log cabin company left me. 2 packs of narrow tiles for the edges and 5 larger patterned tiles for the actual roof. They used the 2 packs first and then continued with the different tiles for the rest of the roof, only informing us of what they did once it was all down. I now have 2 different patterns on the roof facing the house which looks ridiculous. The painting company who came to varnish the cabin, who also do roofing, immediately commented on the poor standard and provided a lower estimate if they had done it themselves. The talk about all the little extras they were going to do didn't really materialise as they ran out of time. Only one side had a drip-edge and the side panels to direct the water down were not installed (although one couldn't be due to the support beams extended further out than the roof board when I constructed it). Choose someone else with more reviews

  At the start I found vasil friendly knowledgable and keen to get the job. He Quoted the whole job would take 4 days fand was the cheapest quote received but didn't finish on fourth day as expected. Stated he will be back on Wednesday but failed turn up and said later on he had To go work and would be over Saturday. Turned up Saturday with friend to complete the job. When he said he had finished I Went over the job and pointed out errors such as door hinges missing screws which he responded screws are rubbish instead of asking for new screws he was happy leaving a number of doors hanging with 1 screw on each hinge. Three of the six door stoppers were not pinned in level so the door either kicked out at the bottom of forward. Instead of just doing the adjustments he decided to argue saying I was looking for an excuse not To pay him. Refused leave my house until I paid him and was shouting so I called the police and he left prior to them arriving. Prior to starting He had never mentioned he wanted payment on daily rate until he finished first day work which I didn't like but agreed as his work was good. In summary His work is very good and I would prefer him to have completed the work and do adjustments but he attitude of someone making errors to avoid being paid is wrong. Made a little mess but cleaned up most of it. Would say use him if you can agree with payment terms and snagging on a daily basis.

  John arrived bang on time, he made sure everything was covered up and it was clear he was passionate about the job he was doing. John did a fantastic professional job and you could tell he had been doing plastering for 29 years. His rates are very reasonable and he is a genuine nice person. Don't bother with anyone else you will not be disappointed.
