Jav and Joe are nice chaps, gave a very reasonable quote and started really quickly (the following day!). We ended up using someone else for the floor tiles after Christmas (we already know them) so these guys took out our old shower enclosure and fittings and fitted new ones including tiling inside the cubicle. There was a damp issue and a leak beforehand- both of which they repaired to a high standard or came up with solutions to so that the job could compete in time for Christmas. They explained all our options well. They went out to get extra materials without an extra charge and worked at a weekend to get it finished in time. Pleased with the finish and I hear metro tiles are particularly difficult to get spot on. I would have liked a more comprehensive quote beforehand but they provide me with this on request and the job finished on budget except for the work around the unexpected damp which was a small extra charge and we were told about this before we went ahead with the extra work. Good all rounders who can do a whole job like this, altho for anything particularly specialist (such as complex patterned or mosaic floor tiles) I chose to use someone who just does tiling and that id already used- although they do work with a specialist themselves for such jobs and his work examples looked high quality so no need to source anyone extra if you want them to manage the whole thing for you. Would use again.

Excellent work by Paul and Joe in rebuilding driveway wall that was knocked over by van. Paul is honest and professional in his dealing and kept the price as agreed. They worked quickly and neatly and cleared everything up. Highly recommend!

WARNING DO NOT HIRE We have recently redone our whole flat and We asker Zachary to box in some pipe work, lay laminate floor, install skirtking boards and radiator cover and then paint wood work which ended up costing £2700 even though th quote was for much less we think he did this to get the job over the other quotes we received The standard of work was absolutely shocking and sadly we were away whilst he finishers and he pushed us into paying before we could see it claiming he needed it desperately (I know rookie mistake on our part) He claimed he sanded down the wood work but everything was rough to the touch and had old paint chips coming through. after hiring another tradman to Put it right they told me he had not even applied a top coat and had only painted with primer after emailing back and forth for weeks he after first denying our issues promised to come fix the issues however after pestering him for over a month this did not materialise and he didn’t get in contact with us. The laminate flooring is coming away from the walls and some of the joints are not clicked in place properly we are gutted we used him and not somewith more feedback We won’t be making that mistake ever again. The skirting board has huge bits of dried glue coming out on some of the edges honestly I don’t know how he could leave a job like this - some people have no shame! DO NOT HIRE THIS GUY!
