Dean from sparkle attended my property to carryout mould treatment to a bedroom in my property. The mould was wash down with a chemical. Then he painted the room fully twice with a mould paint that he'd recommend. Dean was very punctual, professional, quick and extremely clean. I wish I took the negative comments more seriously before hiring Edi for my bathroom but he downplayed them very well, promised a great quality of job plus the pictures on his profile showed jobs properly done so I trusted him. What a mistake! I had exactly the same problems as described in the previous negative feedback. Basic errors with laying the tiles – not only uneven lines but also wrongly cut tiles that left plenty of gaps (he even covered one of the gaps between the wall and floor with a sealant!, others with too thick layers of adhesive or grout, which just look awful). He wasted many tiles unnecessarily too and wasn’t even able to apply the grout correctly; missing many tiles, creating lumps and failing to clean the grout from the tiles after application causing their discolouration! Not to mention plumbing problems – leak that gets fixed only for a couple of hours and then returns. The quality of job is of an amateur, not a professional. Unfortunately, there doesn’t seem to be an option to attach images to the feedback - I have plenty of them so please contact me before thinking about working with this person. He promised to correct the errors but I'm still waiting for this to be done nearly three weeks after the job was apparently finished. He is also avoiding contact. I hope MyBuilder will take relevant steps. My advice is – spare yourself the unnecessary stress and wasted money and HIRE SOMEONE ELSE!

Work done to a good standard, we liked the detailed quote with photographs and arrows to each section showing us what would be done in each area, found that useful and explanation of works agreed, very useful to share with residents. They turned up on time, were polite and tidied up at the end of each day and they didn't mind a million questions from the residents of the building! Thank you for sorting an issue quickly and efficiently that has been ongoing for over 2 years.

I hired Gary for the job on 11th May 2019. He was very courteous and gave me a fair price on his quote. We kept in touch through the course of our renovation. However, he came today for a site visit, just 2 days before he is due to start(admittedly we were delayed by a day, he was meant to start on Monday but a delay meant he could only start on Tuesday) and said he wouldn't be able to do the job anymore. Our plumbers have actually managed to complete on time which means he can start but he just sent a text saying he wouldn't start and didnt answer any of my calls. Then he sends a text saying he has rescheduled all his work due to the delay of 1 day! Extremely unprofessional and unreliable - he has put my entire project at risk over nothing. Avoid at all costs.

Kaz, the job says replace flush system for toilet cistern. The system only costs £16.99 at Screwfix. You charged £90 that was paid to your account to do this but instead of replacing the whole system you trimmed the old outlet part with a saw. This is an old part that we already had 10 years out of it. Now I have an irate tenant sending me videos and photos as it is leaking water into the bowl none stop. You argued that it is over a year. But it is obvious short cutting for a job you already have been paid well to do and should have done and fully replaced as described in the ad. I sent you video and photos of the part you trimmed for a temporary fix. You can clearly see the saw cut edges at the top. You are a plumber and know the two parts don't match. I do understand it would have taken you may be an extra 15 minutes to replace it but that is the job that was advertised and that you have been paid for. No landlord wants to watch someone fix something they are paying them to do.
