Painting & Decorating- 17 Aug 2026
The standard of work was not what I expected, the quality was very poor. They were unreliable waiting around all day not knowing if he was going to arrive sometimes late morning or afternoon. I am having to again pay out for the work to be redone. My new flooring will have to be recoated to remove the excessive amount of paint and glue on the surface. The panelling work he did was amateurish. I have had to bring in a professional company (which I mistakenly thought I had hired and paid in the first place)to look at the awful condition the panelling was left in and to get it all redone properly at an extra cost to myself. The damage is endless from damaged skirting to holes in the fencing due to high pressure jet wash knocking the wood knots out of the fencing which he didn’t finish and left. As in other reviews he offers to come back and put it right but in his own time. I wouldn’t let Prime finish decorators near my new home ever again. For your own stress levels, financial loss Avoid

Tiling- 20 Nov 2020
I wish I took the negative comments more seriously before hiring Edi for my bathroom but he downplayed them very well, promised a great quality of job plus the pictures on his profile showed jobs properly done so I trusted him. What a mistake! I had exactly the same problems as described in the previous negative feedback. Basic errors with laying the tiles – not only uneven lines but also wrongly cut tiles that left plenty of gaps (he even covered one of the gaps between the wall and floor with a sealant!, others with too thick layers of adhesive or grout, which just look awful). He wasted many tiles unnecessarily too and wasn’t even able to apply the grout correctly; missing many tiles, creating lumps and failing to clean the grout from the tiles after application causing their discolouration! Not to mention plumbing problems – leak that gets fixed only for a couple of hours and then returns. The quality of job is of an amateur, not a professional. Unfortunately, there doesn’t seem to be an option to attach images to the feedback - I have plenty of them so please contact me before thinking about working with this person. He promised to correct the errors but I'm still waiting for this to be done nearly three weeks after the job was apparently finished. He is also avoiding contact. I hope MyBuilder will take relevant steps. My advice is – spare yourself the unnecessary stress and wasted money and HIRE SOMEONE ELSE!

I can wholeheartedly recommend Hussein of Royal Touch Interior, who responded swiftly for my request for help to restore a recently-decorated ceiling, that had been damaged in several places after work to install flues leading from a new boiler. A date and estimate was agreed within a few days of my post on My Builder. Hussein carried out the work today and did an excellent restoration and redecoration job; in fact the damaged ceiling has become invisible. Hussein is a quiet, courteous and thoughtful decorator, who I was happy to have in my home; he caused no disruption, prepared and protected all surfaces, worked carefully and skilfully to make the ceiling look “as new”. He did an excellent job at a very fair price and I shall definitely seek his help again in future.

Simon was very easy to work with. He was professional, polite and very helpful. He came over at short notice to quote, take paint samples to match to existing paintwork, and even offered to do the work over the weekend so that it was ready for new tenants to move in. He did a great job and left the flat clean and tidy, and most importantly, came in on budget. Would highly recommend.

I am delighted with the service from London Efficiency. I found Danny and his team professional and prompt, satisfying my many demands. Being an Architect I had very specific vision for the installation, they clearly understood my requirements and found innovative ways to surpass my expectations. They arrived as agreed and worked hard to complete the works within the given timeframe, making sure they left a clean and tidy workspace at the end of every day. Excellent quality of finishes. Five stars if such ratings were possible.

Restoration & Refurbishment- 30 Dec 2016
We have hired Dan and Raf (D&R henceforth) for the renovation of our newly purchased Victorian terraced house. We solicited a few quotes from different companies and decided on proceeding with D&R as the quote was not only one of the most competitive in terms of price but also very detailed and straightforward in terms of the material and labour costs for the different parts of the work. D&R (together with their team workers) have done a complete top-to-bottom renovation of the property, including re-wiring, some structural work (removal of two load-bearing walls), installation of new wooden floors, tiling and installation of new kitchen and bathroom, fitting of new internal and external doors, some carpentry work. By the end of the work the total cost of the renovation work did not deviate significantly from the quote we had initially been given. Also the works were concluded largely within the deadline agreed preceding the works (11 weeks instead of 10 for a complete renovation). D&R have been particularly helpful in providing suggestions throughout the project, and they were often in contact with us to ensure that the renovation was in line with our preference. The scope of work has changed a few times throughout the course of the project, and D&R have always been able to accommodate our requests. Overall, we are extremely happy with the overall results and we would highly recommend D&R’s services.
