Hammer de silva provided a garage conversion quote and literally contacted every day saying he needed the job. After getting the job , I told him we need to go through building control to make sure everything is done in properly. There was about 2- 3 week delay because of building control . This guy keep taking multiple jobs and it’s more than one year and he’s still not finished with the job. He’s only done half of the job and keep coming up with excuses, he told us his wife being severely ill, his daughter being pregnant and needed help with delivery, other financial problems and endless excuses. In between he increased the price of job and took more money from us. He takes money spends it and doesn’t come back to work saying he doesn’t have money and need to find another job as well. Because of his careless work, I couldn’t use my utility room, decking area properly for over a year now costing so much stress and grief, might have to seek legal action if not finished in 2,3 weeks

Mark and Guy were really responsive and flexible (managed to fit us in almost straight away), super punctual, happy to offer advice, and went the extra mile with also getting the coving replaced on parts of the ceiling where the old coving was a bit damaged and would not have looked good if re-used. They did their best to keep the house clean and tidy while they worked, and we paid exactly what we were quoted. Would definitely recommend these two!

Absolutely fantastic. Ram completed our (14 sqm) exstention in just two days. Our brickwork required traditional bond with soldier courses above a coupled bifold door and window. We are highly inpressed with the crafdtmanship and would love to have him and his team back to do more projects in the future. Thank you to Ram and his team, we are very impressed.

I found Gabor Simon through myBuilder. From first call, Simon has been very helpful and truly professional in the approach. The project was of an exhibition stall to be displayed at Ideal Home Show in Olympia London, very challenging one and extreme difficulties. But Simon and his team turned it around, always looking to solve one problem after the other and got it completed in the given deadline. Can't thank enough. If you want to see their work - worth visiting Ideal Home Show at Olympia London, it will be on till 2nd April. The stall has become talk of the show, great craftsmanship. I, without any exaggeration would recommend Simon and their team to do any work from a large extension/renovation project to a fine joinery projects. I will be using them going onwards and hopeful to form a long lasting working relationship with them, as I do find their work of excellent quality and sincerity in approach. BTW - I am an Architect, so do know good work when I come across one. Do get in touch with Simon regarding any of your requirements and I am sure he and his team will amke your life much easier and happier.

Despite the job describing installation and supply Alex kept renegotiating the price as the job progressed. He left a gap at the base of the installation that I had to repair. He tried to overcharge £300 for materials when they cost £211. He could not produce receipts for materials or a proper invoice.

After months of planning every detail of my bathroom renovation, finding the right tiler was one of the most important decisions I made—and I couldn’t have chosen better. The workmanship throughout the project has been absolutely exceptional. The large-format porcelain tiles have been installed with incredible precision, and the porcelain mitre work is simply outstanding. I hired this builder for a tiling job and the experience has been very disappointing. Halfway through the work he increased the price, and I agreed to pay extra in good faith so the job could be completed to a proper standard. Unfortunately, the tiles were installed without removing the old tiles underneath, which meant they didn’t adhere properly and started peeling off soon after. When he returned to fix the issue, he used tape instead of carrying out a proper repair. The tiles are still coming away and the work is not acceptable. I’ve contacted him again to resolve it, but he has not responded. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend him. The work was poor, the fix was unprofessional, and communication has been unreliable.
