Sean came and quoted for the job. His price was comparable to others and he claimed he is experienced. He was given the contract and I made payment as he requested. Then he didn't show up for the work for two weeks. I contacted him and said his workers will come. After two weeks, his workers came and refused to install the battery at the loft as agreed with Sean. I called Sean but he said his workers are experienced and sould put it at the best place in property. Then his workers installed it at my conservatory and did a messy work. I called Sean but he claimed he was sick and refused to attend to me. When i called again and asked him to send the workers to remove the equipment and put the agreed equipment. He refused. He insulted my wife and I. The agreement was for Sean to install a solar panel with battery and an myenergi zappi charger but he installed a project ev charger which is not compatible with our system. We have asked him to remove it but he refused to date.

Amazing result thanks to Richard and his team, and coordinating with the kitchen manufacturer. Knocked through to the dining room and opened the kitchen with the old utility room. Advised us to change our plans on several occasions, which have all proved to be the best decisions, including blocking up the old doorway that gave us better room around the island. All finishes to an excellent standard across building, plumbing, carpentry, electrics, and decoration. Highly recommended.

Ed was the quickest to respond of those introduced by agency. He was able to fit the plastering work into the timing of progress of trades on the overall project of forming ensuite shower room and box room in part of an existing bedroom.He was good to communicate with and worked tidily - cleaning up afterwards. He volunteered a reduction on his original quote afterwards as the work didn’t take as long as originally quoted for. It is difficult to fault Ed’s handling of the job from start to finish. A good finish achieved by a tradesman who obviously takes pride in his work - done in the traditional way. We wound certainly use Ed again.

Do not under any circumstances use this electrician, who installed a C02 sensor alarm in my flat against code and contrary to the instructions it came with. It will not work unless the light switch is on, although it is a key safety device, like a smoke alarm. Dan charged for a full day of almost £300 for this and other small jobs, but left the house with the sensor not working. Dan has refused to answer emails and phone calls and to return to correct his work. I believe he must have invalidated his insurance with this conduct and I will be notifying the electrical certification authority. Under no circumstances can he be trusted and MyBuilder should bar him from the site.
