I am a good, honest and experienced worker, who produces work to a very high standard. Stonework, creative patterned concrete, roof carcassing, floor and wall tiling etc. Work History --------------------------------- I started working in construction as an apprentice bricklayer, serving a 5 year apprenticeship including night school and day release. I worked on numerous and varied contracts, ie. housing, hospitals, schools, warehouses, universities, sports centres, the list goes on. I built my own house in 1988 which i still live in, I worked as a site manager for 10 years, both in construction and civil engineering. Works included: nursing homes in Leeds and Glasgow, Harrods (Knightsbridge), New Manshop, escalators, lift shafts and l;ifts, civil engineering underpinning, concrete works. Royal Albert Hall, South Steps project, JCUK new offices at Smithfield, residential flats at Tower Bridge and Nottingham. Since then i have started working as a small building contractor doing general building works and employ one skilled labourer on a full time basis. I can increase my work force in all trades, depending on my work load. I am available for work in May, through June to the middle of July at present.
