My name is Jake and im currently in my bricklaying apprenticeship,Iv been in college for just over a year and before that I worked with a company that specialised in brickwork maintenance on houses,This included Grinding out Re-Pointing old buildings/walls.Taking down the existing walls and building them back up.They coverd a lot of aspects in maintenance and about 3 months in I got left to do a lot of it on my own as I was confident in how to do it,Working on peoples houses I allways kept the work area tidy and ensured to leave the place clean. Currently I’m on a building sight and have been for the past year,this is were my skills and confidence have progressed massively as I’m constantly on the trowel,I still get left to do my own tasks but now there more advanced,things such as setting out,building corners,building pillars,laying to a line,ect.I allways take pride in my work and allways will as it’s something I enjoy doing.So iv made this account to try and get abit more experience and to do my own little jobs to make abit more money.Iv got all my own tools and my own car and willing to travel,Also I know how to roughly add up most jobs and will give your a very fare price as I’m just starting out,Thanks in advance
