Needed some bespoke pieces of living room furniture/cabinets made. Its fair to say we are very, very happy with the end result. We had a overlying idea of what we wanted but Jim's professionalism was able to apply the little bits/advice to the designs that made the difference. The workmanship and attention to detail you cannot fault, the efforts to source the right materials and finishing ensured the final work looked great. Jim was always around or on the phone when we needed to speak to him, and when the team arrived to fit all were very knowledgeable, respectful and wanted to ensure a good job was completed. Inviting somebody new to make some major changes into your home is a big step, but I have a big belief that when I employ somebody it is through trust and ability, and I am glad to say all our beliefs and instincts were 110% correct. I would not hesitate to ask Jim and his Finesse team to do other works for me, along with his wider network of trade contacts, they would be welcomed back with a knowledge and certainty that a cracking and professional job would be done. There are a lot of decent companies & skilled individuals in the industry, but you wouldn't do yourself any harm in contacting Finesse Joinery if you need any works doing. Highly Recommended from myself & my wife.....

Steven showed up to access the work required, agreed on a price and date to start. A couple of days before I made a call, text, and email to make sure the day we agreed is still good as I took a holiday from work. No reply and the day the work was meant to go ahead Steven did not turn up. What a waste of my time. I do not recommend this company, a simple text to say he can’t do the job would have been fine but to ignore me is extremely unprofessional and frustrating.

Very good experience. The guys explained, in advance, what they would do clearly, they did it efficiently with a smile on their faces and the job was well done. Being a DIY guy I often like to stick my nose in and see what's going on. That didn't bother them and they were happy to explain what they were doing. They cleared up well after themselves. A fair price. What more could you ask for?

I hired this tiler to replace the flooring in our bathroom and whilst completing the job, he suggested to get a new toilet which sounded great for us (and he would bring a plumber with him to install the new one). On the positive side, the tile replacement was executed flawlessly. The work was done correctly and in a timely manner, and the new tiles look great - very satisfied with that aspect of the job. However, the toilet replacement was unprofessional and concerning. Upon completion of the initial work, we discovered that the new toilet had been left completely unconnected to the floor. This is a basic safety and structural requirement that was missed, making the toilet unstable. We had to call him back to rectify the mistake, which he did. While the toilet is now correctly secured, having to follow up for such a fundamental error left us highly unimpressed. In summary, excellent tiler, but plumbing/toilet installation and attention to detail need improved.
