Domestic Plumbing & Maintenance Services, Emergency Call-Outs BC Plumbing & Maintenance Plumber’s Limited Workmanship Warranty --- 1. Warranty Overview BC Plumbing & Maintenance provides a 12-month limited workmanship warranty from the date of completion of the works. This warranty covers faults directly related to the installation carried out by BC Plumbing & Maintenance. --- 2. What Is Covered Under this warranty, we will rectify, free of charge: - Leaks from pipework installed by us - Faulty joints or connections installed by us - Installation errors directly attributable to our workmanship --- 3. What Is Not Covered This is a limited warranty and does not cover: - Faults or failures of manufacturer-supplied parts or appliances - General wear and tear - Existing system faults (including sludge, corrosion, or poor water quality) - Issues arising from old or pre-existing pipework or components - Damage caused by misuse, negligence, or accidental damage - Work altered, repaired, or interfered with by third parties - Blockages not caused by installation workmanship - System pressure issues outside of installed components --- 4. Parts & Materials All parts and materials supplied are covered only by the manufacturer’s warranty. BC Plumbing & Maintenance is not responsible for the failure of these components but will assist, where possible, with manufacturer warranty claims. --- 5. Call-Outs & Warranty Claims If an issue arises within the warranty period: - The customer must contact BC Plumbing & Maintenance as soon as possible - We will assess whether the issue falls under this warranty - If covered, repairs will be carried out at no charge If the issue is found not to be covered, a standard call-out and labour charge will apply. --- 6. Customer Responsibilities To maintain warranty validity, the customer must: - Ensure the system is properly maintained - Operate all installed systems correctly - Not allow unauthorised persons to carry out alterations or repairs --- 7. Limitation of Liability BC Plumbing & Maintenance shall not be liable for: - Indirect or consequential losses - Damage arising from system failure beyond installed works - Any losses resulting from misuse or lack of maintenance --- 8. Acceptance By accepting the completed work and/or payment of the invoice, the customer agrees to the terms of this limited warranty.
