Hello everyone, my name is James, I’m 22 and live in Newington. I’ve been in the construction industry for 4 years on and off. Last year in august I did a tiling course and haven’t looked back. I now work for a specialist tiling company doing a mix of commercial and domestic tiling. I am getting plenty of private work for myself but am always looking for more. I served a full 3 year apprenticeship with a company called 'Period Restorations Ltd' where I continued to work for a further 3 years gaining a lot of experience in all areas of the building industry before starting up on my own. During my 6 years in period restoration I have undertaken a lot of work on period properties for reclaimed bricks to stone and flint walling, using lime mortars and re-points. I also undertake all aspects of ground work including landscaping and drainage.
