Central Heating- 22 Sep 2021
I regret having to leave such a negative feedback, but Robert gave me no alternative: - Robert did not clarify from the beginning he would still demand full payment, even if he did not fix the problem with the radiators. And this is indeed what happened, he could not fix the problem and he aggresively demanded a £150 payment for half an hour work, trying to make the water circulate with a vacuum cleaner, something I could have done myself (withoug obviously being a plumber). - He then asked for an additional £600 payment (to try something else) that I would have to pay anyway, regardless of whether he fixed the problem or not. Most likely he would not and he would leave my flat full of holes everywhere in the walls (which he did not promise to fix properly either). At this point I was clear that he was just after the money. I wrote a respectful, factual review about all this, he then offered (in his public response) to reinsburse me due to my difssatisfaction. I contacted him several times and offered to withdraw my negative feedback, as a kind gesture, should he honoured his public promise. I never got a response. Even though he said again he would honour his promise, when the website manager kindly got in touch with him, he never did so. He will probably leave another response to all that, which will probably be as questionable as the first one. Fortunately and thanks to mybuilder.com, other people can read about my experience and make a better choice of a plumber.

Bathroom Fitting- 1 Mar 2024
Had a great experience with Matthew, he decommissioned an older bathroom, and installed a new bathroom in its place. Completing all the plumbing and also installing wall panels and new flooring. Matthew was very professional, great communicating every step of the process and asking what I wanted, which was needed as it was for a rental property. He was also very neat and tidy. Would definitely recommend him.

I started as a painter and decorator when I was 19. Having had a career in the AV industry for over 30 years, I’ve now come back to something I love doing. I have always carried out painting and decorating jobs for my family and friends. My last job in October was painting a hallway, stairs and landing including all doors and frames plus radiators in a residential home. I take great pride in my work and am very clean and tidy. I am taking plastering & tiling courses by the end of 2020.

Tiling- 14 May 2026
I recently had my kitchen tiled and I’m extremely pleased with the work. He was punctual, reliable and very professional from start to finish. His knowledge of the trade really shows, and the quality of the finish speaks for itself. What I appreciated most was that he didn’t just do the job — he also gave me valuable advice on a few other projects I was considering around the house. That kind of honesty and expertise is rare and genuinely helpful. Overall, I’m very happy with the result and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a skilled and trustworthy tiler.

Fascias & Soffits- 11 Aug 2026
I posted what seemed like a small job and got a quick response from Michael. Unfortunately it morphed into a full roof covering replacement. O'DR were thorough, efficient, well organised and well resourced. They provided photos and videos of existing conditions and progress and dealt with any concerns, that I raised, promptly. Their thoroughness was what impressed me most - when they encountered a defect they addressed it as opposed to 'sweeping it under the carpet'.
