Steve Taylor tiling services
Rating: 5 out of 5
My business card has always stated” no job too small” and I have always stuck to this. I am honest, hardworking, reliable and treat customers with respect. I have over 35 years experience in both commercial and domestic installations. My belief is that you always do your best and don’t leave any job until the customer is completely satisfied with the job and you have left their home as clean and tidy as it was when you arrived. Nothing should be too much trouble and be in constant communication with the customer throughout the duration of the job.

Painting & Decorating- 10 Nov 2020
I highly recommend Nicholas. He was prompt, meticulous, discussed what to expect, gave an agreed time frame, and actually completed on time and left the space cleaner than when he had arrived. Helpful, polite and definitely a 'can do' kinda workman. An all round positive experience. Mine was a small but very challenging job, Nicholas remedied a previously poor paint job. So multiple small fixes needed, including bedroom, sitting room and stairwell. I am so happy with the work carried out. Great work all round! I am now a very happy customer indeed 😊

Bathroom Fitting- 15 Jul 2023
Andy delivered what he’d promised and exceeded expectations. From first contact in April to completion today (15th July) he has been courteous, professional and has consulted us as necessary as the work has progressed. Problems that were not obvious when he attended site to work up his quotation were all addressed and without exceeding his original quotation. Andy and the tradesmen he uses for work he needs support with are thoroughly reliable. He turned up when he said he would and came back to finish off at a weekend, which was appreciated. We would highly recommend Parnaby Property Developments.

Damp Proofing- 23 Mar 2025
My issue was cured by tanking part of the wall and floor of my annex, to stop water ingress from my neighbour's garden. It was reasonably predictable that my outbuilding would act as a retaining wall against the raised soil of his garden; but I could not see the higher ground or the suspect drainage that was causing the issue. I would have needed to hire a surveyor; but Daniel served the same function, expertly using drone footage to establish the neighbour's drainage and uncapped, deconstructed chimney stack as the dual cause. I appreciate Daniel's commitment to accuracy in his reporting and value the strategic thinking that he brought to the tanking project, maintaining it at the highest standard. Thank you for being potentially prepared, through your drone footage, to step up to assist with the letting agent's collaborative efforts to bring pressure to bear on the owner/landlord. Your professionalism, and that of your expert team, reflect well on your company.

Darren has just completed plastering a large bedroom for me and his work was excellent. When he viewed the room he was very thorough in his examination of what needed to be done. His quote was very reasonable and he kept me updated on his progress while he was working. He finished the job quicker than he planned and his price reflected this at the end. He left the room tidy and cleaned up any messes he had made. I would definitely recommend Darren and will be using him again in the future.

Security Systems- 28 May 2019
Sorry about the late feedback - The job was managed very professionally by Kevin and his installation engineers. Kevin was very accommodating to requirements following an initial mixup. We had some issues with a faulty PIR, but following additional visits to troubleshoot the issue, this was finally rectified. The job was to install an intruder alarm and 2x external foglights. Everything is working as required. Many thanks for your efforts getting everything completed.
