Complete waste of time. Hired this tradesman a few months ago, to work on a simple brick BBQ. We had a conversation in person about the job and i informed him i would be supplying the bricks as they are "reclaimed". On the day they were to start the job, he turned up and said "oh" where are the materials, which was concerning. I had to explain our conversation in detail to point out that i said i was supplying the brick as they were reclaimed, no mention of any other material. I had just completed a huge renovation project and this was one of the final contractors to be used. Unfortunately this person is very amateur, and he then made me pay £500 for materials to be delivered. I paid for the materials and the new start date he suggested wasnt suitable, he then said he longer wanted the job! Can you believe it, he made me pay for all the materials, even though that was not agreed in person. I have dealt with over 12 different teams working on this project, and this one is the worst. No care in the word, he even sent a text said he was "quaking in his pants" about a bad review. I just replied saying, that sums everything up - totally unprofessional. Move on.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5-Star Experience with Meiker - Handyman! I recently hired Meiker Handyman for several small but important repairs around a property in Kensington, including window fixing, a leaking bathroom tap, bed repairs, and a broken table leg. Even though I had quite a few things on my list, he handled everything efficiently and professionally. He arrived right on time, was very reliable, and worked quickly without compromising on quality. It was clear he knew exactly what he was doing, and he made sure every job was completed properly before leaving. I booked a couple of services through his website, www.kaangu.com , and the process was super easy,I got booked in straight away with no hassle at all. Overall, it was a smooth, stress-free, 5-star experience. I’ll definitely be booking him again next time I need anything done. Highly recommend!

Quite literally the worst tradesman I have ever worked within 25 years as a property developer! He came and quoted to paint my house (a good price I must say), little did I know that this meant he would spray everything that he can see, not prepare the surfaces by sanding them down or protects things. This included door handles, hinges, radiators, alarms sensors, tiles and my own furniture and cooking utensils. First time I confronted him about this he said that we would clean everything, and we agreed to carry own. However, it became apparent that we was doing the same as previously discussed. have paid hi 66% of what was agreed, I quickly realised that the damaged he has caused was going to cost me far more and I told him to leave. The next day he turned up at my house with his wife demanding the balance which I refused to give him, they were both shouting outside my house, threatening to call the police. I eventually agreed to pay the 50% of what was left, just so that they would leave. However, even once he had confirmed writing his acceptance of this, he walks over to me and threatened me one final time, saying that he will take me to court etc, there is god and he will see to me! I advise to stay away from this person, better to pay a little more and work with professionals who don't agree with one thing and do another. He paints using a spray, which means you can not touch anything up and he quite literally paints everything he sees!!

I am a locksmith with experience in residential and commercial lock changes. My previous job as a carpenter holds me in good stead for fitted locks to wooden doors and boarding up after a break in. I also offer a 24hr emergency service. I work with all types of locks on UPVC and composite doors. I live and work in Borehamwood but cover most of Hertfordshire on a daily basis.
