It was a tricky job, involving dampcoursing, replacing plasterwork, exterior rendering and pointing, replacing lino and wood flooring, rerouting plumbing, repairing chimney breast and fitting airbricks. Povilas was very professional, communicated well throughout, managed the whole thing, worked with the insurance surveyor, provided detailed invoices and brought in other trades when required.

Matt did a superb job. He was easy to deal with throughout. The job was more complex than it should have been due to poor workmanship previously. But it didn't faze Matt and even though he had to do more work to complete the job he took it all in his stride and did a thoroughly good job. He was friendly and polite. It was refreshing to come across somebody who takes pride in their work and I would recommend Matt 100 per cent to anyone. 🙂

We have never used MyBuilder.com before and were nervous about the experience we might have. We should never have worried about a thing! From the moment Krystian got in touch he was polite and knowledgeable without being pushy. He started within a short time of being given the job and the quality of his work was visible right from the start. Krystian was also very tidy, cleaning up after himself everyday and making sure that doorways were sealed as much as possible to stop dust getting through. Krystian was able to offer creative ideas as well as practical suggestions. His plumber/electrician and other associates all adhere to his high standards. The final job looks amazing, several of our neighbours have seen the work and have got Krystian lined up for work in their own homes. The only sad thing is that we will have to join the back of the queue to get the next part of our home completed.

My family and I were moving and we needed to renovate the walls, which not only needed repainting, but were also holes and cracks on them. We hired him to fix these problems for us, and he completed the work perfectly. The walls were smoother than ever, and even though we changed our minds a couple times, the colour of the walls is exactly what we wanted. Overall, he works very efficiently and is very observant and professional. I would highly recommend him.

Fabrizio cleaned the decking on the terrace on day one and came back the next day to apply two coats of decking oil to the now dried surface. I was very happy with the work done. It was on time and very tidily done with a good finished result. I would have no problem in recommending Fabrizio for handyman work.

We employed Olga to design a new rear extension, as part of a full renovation of a Victorian terrace. We wanted an extension that created as much new living space as possible, focused spend in specific areas and was different to the standard 3x3m box extension. We were nervous as we’ve never attempted anything like this before and didn’t know where to start. We chose Olga over other architects as she was a great communicator in her initial responses, she reassured us she would help us through the process as well as designing the extension, she listened to our requirements and showed real creativity when we first met. Having now worked closely with her we can confirm our initial impressions were right. She has been great. The design is beyond our initial expectations and it’s been a collaborative process where she's listened to our feedback and adjusted items accordingly. She has also helped us through each stage of the design, providing guidance on structural engineers, buildings inspectors, contractors, suppliers etc as well as navigating what was a tricky planning process. Everyone we’ve worked with has commented on the detail of her drawings and the quality of the design. The detailed schedule of works produced has made it easier to compare contractor quotes and make choices on the final design/finishes to get us closer to our budget. She has demonstrated real passion for our project and a genuine desire to make an incredible living space for our family.

Very positive experience. Elvis and his colleague were punctual, polite and efficient, even taking a good look at the product they were installing before putting it up to prevent a known issue reoccurring. They also took the time to fix something else small while they were here. Would recommend.

Quite literally the worst tradesman I have ever worked within 25 years as a property developer! He came and quoted to paint my house (a good price I must say), little did I know that this meant he would spray everything that he can see, not prepare the surfaces by sanding them down or protects things. This included door handles, hinges, radiators, alarms sensors, tiles and my own furniture and cooking utensils. First time I confronted him about this he said that we would clean everything, and we agreed to carry own. However, it became apparent that we was doing the same as previously discussed. have paid hi 66% of what was agreed, I quickly realised that the damaged he has caused was going to cost me far more and I told him to leave. The next day he turned up at my house with his wife demanding the balance which I refused to give him, they were both shouting outside my house, threatening to call the police. I eventually agreed to pay the 50% of what was left, just so that they would leave. However, even once he had confirmed writing his acceptance of this, he walks over to me and threatened me one final time, saying that he will take me to court etc, there is god and he will see to me! I advise to stay away from this person, better to pay a little more and work with professionals who don't agree with one thing and do another. He paints using a spray, which means you can not touch anything up and he quite literally paints everything he sees!!
