Leonard was fantastic from start to finish. From scoping the job, to advising us on materials and considerations ahead of it, to then completing the work to a very high standard - professional, methodical, efficient and very personable - we were very pleased with the outcome and working with him. He tiled our downstairs water closet in less than a day and left everything spic and span after the job. We will certainly be looking to use him again and happy to recommend him to anyone for his craftmanship.

Like Ricky as a person but professionally pulled my hair out a few times. Ultimately fitted the kitchen and did a couple of other jobs. Had him in my mind to do bathroom but his aftercare and snagging issues caused by his kitchen fit are none existent. He was quick to chase me for £10 but not so quick to come and fix a cupboard door which he installed incorrectly. It’s a shame as he is a nice guy but seems to be shortsighted at looking at the bigger picture.

Job done promptly and within the budget required. The window was put in place so quickly I didn’t have a chance to wipe the dust of it before it went in! Would suggest the fitter carries a cloth with him to wipe fingerprints and bits off the window before installation but really a small thing considering. Overall very happy with the job done. Thanks.

The prospect of doing a renovation felt daunting but Meto’s friendly and patient manner made the whole process feel straightforward. He is always so communicative in his approach and made sure to keep us updated with how things were progressing. Poor understansing of brief, poor build quality, stressful experience. Finishes have deteriorated quickly and paint easily chips. I had additional projects which i have taken elsewhere. Within 2 years the cabinet is falling apart and will need to be remade. PLEASE DO NOT GIVE THESE GUYS ANY WORK. THEY ARE INCOMPETENT AND YOU WILL END UP HAVING TO GET THE WORK RE-DONE LIKE I AM NOW DOING. ALL IN ALL A VERY EXPENSIVE MISTAKE.

Sohail worked closely with me on this project. Providing detailed costings, work schedules and build timelines. Filling my knowledge gaps with his extensive experience he was able to assist over and beyond what I expected from him. Unfortunately due to circumstances out of my control this development project didn’t go ahead. However when the next opportunity for a new build comes up I will definitely be using Rose and Stone. I did have another job going at the time where the other builder badly let me down and left me with a big problem on my hands…. Sohail and his team stepped in and took on the project. The team finished the job exceptionally well, which was a full on top to bottom conversion, some internal reconfigurations and with the addition of a loft and new downstairs WC. The workmanship and overall quality of the job was excellent. My wife is over the moon with the results, taking the house from a three bed one bathroom to a four bed 3 bathroom house. We would definitely recommend Rose and Stone for this type of extensive refurbishment/loft conversion work and look forward to working with them in the future on bigger development projects.
