Disappointing. Stephen & Son took on a job at our property to install a kitchen, fit a laminate wood flooring, hang 3 doors and a few other finishing bits. Stephen & son were pleasant enough to talk to but we found their workmanship quite poor with no attention to detail. The kitchen was appeared to be fitted ok but on closer inspection the unit doors had to be tightened, the worktop was left in precarious position awaiting for it to be cut (which has now bowed it) and they have no returned to make good. The wood flooring was quite poorly fitted with gaps around the kitchen and surrounding areas, gaps in flooring, threshold’s hanging off and one stuck down with a blob of caulk! We had to get them to come back to address issues but failed to do so, we have to fit thresholds ourselves as they did not return. The doors hung poorly, didnt countersink the latches (hand to come back to sort) and still let with screw hanging out and one door not shutting… We paid them in good will to finish the job and text multiple times asking for then to return to make good the work, texts and all calls have been ignored now and the job is left unfinished… Stephen charges £300 per day (£200 for him and £100 for a son that is learning) but effectively you get the work of one decent tradesman and a sub standard finish. We have tried to contact several times before leaving this review…unacceptable!

Very pleased with the work that Tom carried out for me. To hang 6 heavy doors on your own is no mean feat, but Tom is certainly a grafter. A job well done, and I would be only too happy to recommend him.

Just finished having a bedroom bio folding door fitting to my daughter room by Nick Brown. Very happy with the work and overall job. After a few message Nick asked me to take some photos of the area we wanted the working to be carried out. This is a great idea, saves time with him not having to come over and look at the job before confirming he could do the work. Got a complete break down of the job including the cost. Which I was happy with. Good communication of when he could carry out the work, arranging a time around our busy work life’s. On arrival Nick was polite, friendly and worked on the job, he informed me that he needed to get a few more bits to finish off the job and give it a cleaner, smarter look. He arrange a time that work best for us. Next day the work was finished to a great standard. Overall very happy with the cost and work. Would use again in the future and recommend him to other people. 5 Stars.

What can I say? Blown away. Ben led a landscape project for us involving a lot of concrete breaking, concreting, fencing etc, a lot of detail, materials, deliveries, juggling stuff. The comms, the effort, the finish, the professionalism and care were just the best I've ever experienced. Which is so important when you trust someone with extensive changes to your home. Huge huge thanks to Ben and his team for being flexible and making it happen. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend.
