Restoration & Refurbishment- 3 Nov 2016
Good quality tradesmen and materials used on all parts of the project. Some of his ideas actually made the solutions work better. The job did take quite a bit longer than originally planned - due to the workmen moving on to other tasks - but I guess that happens with businesses this size. Impressed by Luca's honesty and saying it how it is.

Hard Flooring- 2 Nov 2026
Martin on the phone appeared rather serious ... in reality he is a lot of fun...as are his colleagues . I have to say ... he came very prepared with the reclaimed boards already... he clearly knows what he is doing very diligent .... he staggered the boards terrifically ... and addressed all my concerns . Checked all boards were secured and no pipes wires intefered with . He went the extra mile with his diligence. Hard working chaps .... I will definitely use them again 100% ... for the other jobs I have in near future . ThaaaanX u very much ....

Plastering- 17 Jun 2024
Adam Favor and NOVA Design & Build are a nice bunch of guys and they are reliable/helpful. However, when it came to coving, architrave and flooring, acceptable standards were unfortunately not met. Other specialists had to be brought in to re-do around 20% of the job; namely certain sections of the cornice and door architrave. In the former, a few things were below standard including: 1) not joining the friezes in the correct places, 2) cutting inaccurately, 3) leaving gaps, 4) using silicon as a filler and adhesive. For the door architrave, the wood was misaligned and not glued/nailed properly. The flooring was not laid well because there are huge gaps at times; sometimes at 1 cm. Since the kitchen has been installed, it is too late to take up the floorboards again. The most dubious thing of all in this job was the quote received for decorating which was c. 15k for 47 m2. This included plastering repairs, but ultimately the job got done by someone else to a high standard at 7k.

When Emanuel first came, he explained carefully what was wrong and needed fixing, and how he and his team would tackle everything. This gave me the peace of mind and confidence to take him on. Throughout the job he was quick to communicate updates, any problems he encountered and the impact on the rest of the work. The overall finish is superb and the quality of the work is excellent. I'd have no hesitation in recommending Emanuel and will definitely be using him again. He's a lovely, honest guy and takes pride in his work.

Painting & Decorating- 4 Dec 2024
Could not recommend more highly, the best client service and product I have ever received. This is a father and son team who absolutely shattered expectations - we genuinely consider ourselves so lucky to have found David and his father and couldn't be happier with their service. On the first meeting their expertise was immediately obvious, with just a single walk through of the property being enough for them to identify what we needed and pick up on details that only comes from years and years of practical experience. That set the tone for rest of the relationship, with there being so many instances of them going out of there way with no other intention than to provide the best client outcome possible. Here are just a few examples that show their genuine client care and professionalism: - David was constantly available on WhatsApp or the phone to answer questions or provide advice with almost instant responses. I don't think I've ever experienced better client service in any context. - David and his dad personally ran around London for days trying to find replacement doors that fit the frames, picked up paints from the store, found and purchased appropriate fittings like door stops, light switch covers etc. - these small things were taken care of us with just us needing to approve options they found in store. It was a massive time and stress saver for us. - we were doing this on the fly so evolved our requirements almost constantly throughout the project - these were always accommodated and not only that, with such a positive and helpful attitude that it made our lives so much easier - when retiling the bathroom they informed me they would have to take the cabinets out to tile underneath - I suggested they could tile around it but insisted that it should be done in case we ever wanted to replace the cabinet. They did this at no extra cost to ourselves, just extra work for them which underscores their professionalism. - they gave proactive advice on so many aspects of the project, including the most appropriate paints and floor varnishes, proactively identifying design faults that we were not aware of and remediating them (e.g. very oddly placed light switches), identified a pretty shoddy job of repairing a leak in the loft and future proofed it for us which is again something we would never have been aware of until another leak occurred, they even proactively put a small sliding door into the bathtub panelling (no extra cost) to ensure any future plumbing issues could easily be investigated. - they were unbelievably clean which was such a nice bonus - the property was immaculate at the end of every day, and for me that showed a level of respect for clients and the property that is so hard to find. - measurements - they took care of all of these for us , including tile measurements, blinds, garden edging etc. - it was such a luxury to be able to just be told how much of each needed to be ordered and they were 100% accurate - again such a time and stress saver for us. These are just some examples of our experience, I can honestly say that this is the lever of service we received throughout. With such an amazing service you might think that they would have charged a premium. This was not the case, in fact the opposite, I could easily see another contractor charge 2-3 times what we paid, and it is particularly impressive when you consider the flawless finishing and breadth of work they undertook - the whole house repainted (walls, ceilings, cabinets), the flooring sanded and revarnished plus carpet upstairs taken out and floorboards repaired, painted and varnished, garden landscaped, bathrooms retiling, fireplace retailing, toilets replaced, light switches rewired etc - it was a full makeover. They also achieved all this in 2 weeks - that is no mean feat but is even more impressive when you consider that our requirements were constantly evolving - they took all in their stride and just replanned sequencing of activities to accommodate us. We have since passed David's details onto no less than 5 friends who have all been absolutely delighted, so we've put our recommendation into practice!

Bathroom Fitting- 13 Oct 2026
Fantastic work – highly recommend Cre8tive Contractors Ltd! Eric was absolutely brilliant from start to finish. He took on a property that had been tenanted for eight years and was in desperate need of some TLC to transform it back into a lovely home we could move into. The work included retiling the kitchen, installing a new sink and taps, new bathroom tiles and shower, decorating throughout and fitting new wardrobes. It was quite a transformation! Eric was incredibly patient and accommodating with our changing ideas throughout the project, always calm, approachable and genuinely lovely to work with. His pricing is very reasonable, particularly given the quality of his workmanship and the care he puts into everything. It's been such a pleasure working with someone so reliable, easygoing and professional. We're absolutely delighted with the results and wouldn't hesitate to recommend him. We'll definitely be back in touch with more work when we move again! Thank you, Eric!
