Extensions- 29 Apr 2020
Absolutely outstanding. The professional understanding of James and his team was second to none. The initial meeting between ourselves and James demonstrated a clear willingness, of both parties, to produce a quality end product. We received, as promised, a detailed, realistic quote within a few days which formed the "backbone" of future work. The skill level and willingness to discuss and advise us on various "modifications", shown particularly by our main builder Roger, was exceptional. Despite floods, winds and, of course, Coronavirus the work continued throughout. The ability to access materials, when others seemed to struggle, was never a problem. The care and commitment to producing a "finished product" of the highest quality was always at the forefront of Roger's thinking. We cannot thank him enough for everything he did. (We, as a couple, have learnt so much about how an extension should be built. We are not sure everybody can say that.) Finally, the original quote, was honoured and clear instructions re staged payment breakdowns were met and acknowledged by all parties. We cannot recommend Ledbury Construction and Groundworks enough. They are a role model to all those who build and a "direction" for all those wishing to have work of this type carried out to follow. We would use this company for any future work on the house and advise "all of you who are reading this" to do the same. Thank you for this opportunity to express our feelings. Ann and Freddy Fuller

Fencing- 17 Sep 2024
I have hired them for installing the fence and levelling the garden. Fencing - They have installed the fencing and I have asked them if they can install trellis for more privacy, however they came up with poor quality trellis and there were big gaps between the battens and no privacy at all. Garden Levelling - They levelled with pure organic compost (no topsoil mixed) which is so fluffy and hot. And it’s not useful for growing any grass, I had tried a small patch with grass seeds and grass is not at all growing. And no useful to install the paving tiles on top of it. I paid £1200 for this job which a waste of money. And I have to completely take soil out and re-do the job. Also they haven’t cleaned my driveway and it’s complete mess with organic compost. They ask for 50% deposit for any job but please do NOT pay upfront as they provide the cheap quality stuff. They try to grab the business out of you. Overall, it was a very bad experience for hiring them 🥲🥲🥲

Mike was great from start to finish. He thought "outside the box" and gave honest opinions re the required job. Everything suggested was greatly appreciated and happy to hire for the work. The job was done as described, with a few changes along the way. The finished article (plus additional jobs needed doing) is better than we envisioned and very pleased! Mike is a top guy, and great professional and would highly recommend to anyone.

He did not cut any corners and made sure the problem was rectified to a high standard. We will certainly employ him again in the near future for another job, which he has agreed to do. Thank you Jack and see you again soon.
