The radiators do not work , I asked him to refund or pay some money back .He refused outright! The boiler is leaking bucket full of water .He started by cutting pipes & removing the filter & putting a loop on it . He then told me to fill up the pressure up to 1 , I did this . By the next morning it leaks out all the water. He said it’s the value inside boiler & these stupid old boilers , you can’t get to the value . He wanted another £400 to repair it & then said £800 for a new one . He never told me to get a new boiler at the start , he told me after he had damaged it. He’s a cowboy ! he said he had nightmares , as he knew it was an issue now that the boiler was broken by him. He came back & put a stop end on the end of the overheating pipe as this didn’t stop the leak. I asked for a refund as has broken my boiler as it was working before he came . There was no leaks anywhere . It went from £60 to £180 .I paid him . He’s not a reasonable person , he told me to get another plumber . I feel he has scammed me of a lot of money & caused me a lot of stress & upset 😢 All he needs to do is refund my money as the central heating dosnt work & I have no heat & now I have a broken boiler . It’s not right, I was kind to him & gave him homemade apple pie & tea & we got on really well & I offered him more work. It’s wrong & he knows it, he’s ripped me off! He’s scammed me of £180 pounds . A good tradesman would refund me my money. I got no heat & a broken boiler .

We used Spencer to build a large garden shed. From the beginning Spencer was prompt, professionally and easy to deal with. His quote was competitive and he started the works when he said we would. Despite the works taking longer than expected (British weather) Spencer didn't grumble, try to increase his price or compromise on the quality of his work. Spencers commitment to making sure the customer is truly happy is a rare trait in contractors these days. The work he did far exceeded my expectations. I have already recommended him to several friends and would happily use for future works.

We encountered an issue during the initial job and Shabazz found the most cost effective solution. On a follow-up job, the experience was more frustrating due to a lack of communication. I had to find another contractor.

Unfortunately I had no contact with this tradesman after he made initial contact and I 'hired' them. I messaged to arrange times but unfortunately I was blanked. No worries. I have closed the job and will find alternatives.

Really pleased with Trevor. He came round and quoted quickly, and we agreed a price there and then. He did the work on time, to a good standard, was tidy and with no fuss. This was only a small job, but on this basis I'd be happy to use him again, and recommend to others.

Hired Nathan to replace stop taps on the communal meters. He came to see the job and spent an hour of his own (unpaid) time digging out the main stop tap on the street to ensure it worked. Friendly, professional and reliable. I've already passed his details on to others and highly recommend him.

Driveways (Paved & Loose)- 28 Oct 2025
The guys I hired this team to do underpinning on my outbuilding, finish off the slabs on my patio, and build an entirely new driveway from scratch. They worked incredibly hard and did a fantastic job throughout. Communication was excellent from start to finish — they were always responsive, flexible, and really listened to what I wanted to achieve. The quality of the driveway and all the finishing work is top-notch, and to top it off, they completed everything a full week ahead of schedule. I’m really pleased with the results and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for reliable and skilled builders.

Excellent job. Rafael was punctual, courteous, professional and well skilled. Completed our job in a few hours to a high standard. He also completed additional cementing work around the house as he'd finished the initial job early. He gave me some great inspiration for how to landscape the garden in the future! Thanks again and will definitely work again with him in the future.
